Color can be messy especially if the colorist is working close to the hairline, around the neck & ears
There always seems to be drippings no matter how many wipes there might be
My colorist & even after my hair is washed we have to do a clean up before the gloss is applied
Maybe it just goes with the territory, IDK.. but if you are happy with the end results,
that's what counts

I learned the hard way that color isn't necessarily as easy as it looks. I went one time to a new person (owner of a small salon) who was recommended by an acquaintance. She made my hair way too bright red. Now that I have someone who basically gets it right and works with me, I'm sticking with her. so if you're happy with your color and cut, keep trying to get her to clean up your face. It shouldn't be that hard.

I pay for the whole head blonde highlights with Glossing and blow-dry 270 Euro.
I live in Germany in a big city with 800000 inhabitants.
For a haircut at Salons with good quality its round about 80-160 Euro.

I trained as a Hairdresser. but I have been working as a colorist for 20 years.

Also from Germany, green suburbs of a state capital - color with blow-dry and styling, no cut, 4,5 hours = €200,-
Seems fair to me.

It's the first time, so we'll see.
The roots are dark, and I can let it grow out over a longer time.
I think, we had a conversation (I don't remember in which thread) not so long ago, about so many women getting their hair blonder and blonder when it gets gray. Now it happened to me :D
I had some baby lights since September to hide these few gray hairs on top of my head. It worked well, but I wanted to change my look for the first time into much lighter. I had all kind of colors over the years, but never went blond.
