Yeah you get that sometimes. I recently went in to order a strap for my very old PA and the SA took my bag and examined it very carefully, asked if I had my old strap. I guess she thought maybe it was a fake bc it was so beat up LOL. It's 14 years old and I used it everyday. I don't care, she can be however she wants to be. I move right along! Next!

As someone who spent over a decade in the retail field in customer facing roles, compensation is near the bottom of the many reasons why staff can be sour. I always go out of my way to be extra friendly to retail staff as I've been in their shoes.

I'm not sure what you expect. Her to stand there in her place of employment and say. "yeah, LV product suck and they crack". I mean honestly I have had my DE NF for 4 years and mine hasn't cracked. I just don't know what you expect. you and her to stand there and talk about how ****ty DE straps are?
I think we should stop assuming the worst about SAs. That would be refreshing.
I’m a frequent browser at Saks fifth LV. purchased several items mainly because my SA is really nice (Samantha). She is really good in finding limited items for me. Lately I’ve been shopping at Holts Bloor, Jen Li is the best SA. The only downside with having an amazing SA is that , I end up spending more than I should
No wonder they're cranky over in the Sunshine State.

I always tell people this: if you don’t like who you’re working with, ask for another SA or manager. Don’t let one person ruined a whole experience for you! I’ve been to that location, not the nicest SAs there so I don’t shop there...
They make some type of commission. I know this, because my SA told me to go ahead and order the small items (key holder, card holder) on the site whenever they pop up because she only makes a few dollars on them, and she knows how hard they are to get. And save the larger handbag/luggage purchases for her. She said it more subtly than that, but I got the gist. And they should receive bonuses or commission IMO - it's normal to be incentivized, and they work hard.
They are the WORST in Florida; especially Boca Raton. But to play devil’s advocate, so are the clients, lol!No wonder they're cranky over in the Sunshine State.
I agree! That's why I go a little out of the way to Palm Beach Gardens. I hate the mall in Boca.
They recently opened a stand-alone LV store in my city and I find it way more welcoming than the one they had within the Holt Renfrew.
Regardless, I had gone in and seen one SA and said I would come back and she gave me her info. When I went back she was with someone else but I decided to wait until she was free just in case she was commissioned based. When I saw her she thanked me many times for waiting and was super apologetic for the wait. Anyways it leads me to believe they either get a commission or their performance from sales is very important. I always appreciate good customer service and I would be happy to wait again for her to help me.
