I used thick shower rods in my kids closet because their stuff is not long enough, you could try that on the side where you keep tops and skirts. I don't have many drawers except for the little plastic ones but I only keep pjs, t shirts and bras & underwear

I think I just need to downsize what I have. I want to be more minimal but it's tough for me!

Wow you've got a ton of clothes! This is my little empty closet. I do have more clothes than you see in the pic (sweaters and pants go in 2 drawers) but not a lot more. I always wanted a bigger closet when I was a teenager but I like it this way better.

Wow true minimalism! No coats? I get cold easily that's why I have a ton of them

Yea I think I have 10 leather/suede/shearling (total not of each type lol) -.-;;;

oh no, now you're making me nervous... like "should I buy a second pair of my favorite leather pants (not good b/c they're expensive), in case I wear them out... bc they're not the usual easily replaceable black" aggkk!!! (they're the brown Helmut Lang ones & I wear them all the time, like they're jeans :(

what do you think?

That's what I do - especially as every season pieces are discontinued..

If you love it, always buy a spare if you're a minimalist..:graucho:

Wow you're my inspiration!! Your closet is what I hope to achieve... I think someone asked for pics of my closet on this thread before... This is a sampling of what 15% of my closet looks like :shame: my entire wall is lined with closets that look like this... On both sides. Utter mess!!

Here is a crappy pic of mine :)

Left side, from top to bottom

* my bags <3
* Tshirts, behind: maxi dresses and a mesh cardi, Jeans, behind: skirts folded
* Sweaters, behind: shorts, Jewelery trunk, behind: PJ's
* drawer with undies, hats, gloves, camis
* drawer with my exercise clothes (a lot)
* Drawer with organizer: scarves and belts
* Sandals, beloved Tsubo heels, pumps, booties

Right side, left to right:

* Blouses, dresses, Cardigans, blazers

and boots. Sneakers, water shoes, hiking shoes and running shoes are crammed in the back there.

Missing are my ballet flats, jeans and a tshirt that I'm wearing and some misc. stuff in the laundry. The jackets are in the hallway closet.

I feel much more comfortable posting this here than in the "dream closets" thread lol.
