I have about 10 coats, but my go-to are a black Miss Sixty wool coat and a Burberry London trench.

I just bought this Burberry Brit coat and will be adding this to my coat rotation. I'm finally adding some color to my black coat collection.

Ooo, this is fun. Glad to know I'm not the only one with a weakness for winter fashion. Even though I grew up on the beach, I do love the snow now that I'm here :) Like most of you, I always buy my coats at the end of the season, or with crazy promotions.

I have 13 total, and yes, I do wear them all. Even though a lot of what I have is black, they fit different needs and temperatures.

A few of my favorites are:
-My mom's vintage black cashmere coat with fox fur collar
-Black thinsulate and wool plaza coat from J.Crew
-Mid-thigh black and grey boucle coat from Free People
-Long black military style wool coat from Bebe (yea, originally $249, got it for $29 :yahoo:)
-Olive green wool trench from Banana Republic
-Down coat from Eddie Bauer that's falling apart

I'd like to replace my down coat, since I only have one, and I wear it to walk the dogs every night when it's snowy out. I'm thinking about a Mackage coat, but they're just soo pricey! I paid $200 for my Eddie Baur coat and it barely lasted a year and a half. I've read good things about Mackage and am thinking it's worth the price if it will last and keep me warm!

A few shearling that I have yet to use but too lazy sometimes!

Yay! I love my plaza coat! It's the most "professional" of all the ones I have and I LOVE it :)

Looks like I have 10 coats, but I live in the cold midwest. Seems like I buy one coat a season usually. My nicest and best looking coat is my burberry trench. It is just so classic. I finally get why people like Burberry.

I tend to heavily favor thigh waist wool coats over puffers. I actually just bought a Soia Kyo wool coat in camel this morning because I get tons of complements on my other coat from that brand. I always buy my coats on sale. I wont wear anything with a fur collar.

Black wool coat - two sizes too big. I used it as a maternity coat; should probably get tailored as I never wear it
Lands End parka in brown - DH says looks dorky but I dont see it :cool:
Black North Face usual puffer. I think its too short

Burberry trench
Balenciaga trench in black
Coach leather jacket in wine

Fun! I love coats.

I only have 3 coats that go past my hips: one camel-colored wool dressy coat, one stone-colored raincoat with a zip-out warm liner, and one eggplant-colored heavy suede sheepskin that feels like a hot blanket when it's minus 15 degrees outside. I usually stay away from wool coats because they are a dog hair magnet.

The rest are shorter jackets that are integral parts of the wardrobe: leather jackets (6), workout jackets (3), hoodies (2), really old junky jackets for walking the dogs (3), ski jackets (2), MLB sports jacket (1), denim jackets (2) and fabric blazers (a bunch).

I don't do cardigans and I like lightweight tops, so I'll often wear a leather jacket or blazer all day at work.

-grey Zara herringbone blazer

For fall/winter
-black no name coat from china
-grey Max & Co wool coat

I also have a Fifth Ave Shoe Repair jacket that I got on a whim, but I have no idea what to wear it with! I can't let it go though...

One long coat from the days I lived in NY

And I am not counting my light weight jackets

That's my current outwear collection. I'm thinking about purging one of the wool coats. It's from Aeropostale and I think it looks too young for me now. My other wool coat is older but it's a classic style.
