Travel How far in advance do you plan your travels?

Really depends if the airlines have a sale or I can get a good deal and and the dates you can travel. For example, I went to Hawaii a few weeks back and booked the airfares in late February. QANTAS had $998 AUD flights to Dallas/ Fort Worth that included travel in February/ March so my friend and I booked but wont plan anything else for a while. (Will be travelling around Texas for 2 1/2 weeks)

For local travel, I usually book a month or so in advance.

Depends. For local travel, about 2 wks. For domestic, about 2 months and for international, 6 months minimum but closer to a year.

If it's just within Europe, one month. If it's intercontinental, 6 months.
