Kallie girl - I like the way you rest their little "heads" on rolled up towels!

I get TONS of these from amazon. Are they safe to use inside H bags? Sorry for the silly question!

I’m a little paranoid that they plastic will stick to the leather or the printed text in green gets itself stuck on the leather like color transfer.

I imagine it would depend if you live in a hot or humid environment. You could try wrapping them in felt or fabric before you put them in the bags.

Hi everyone,

I just purchased my first birkin. However, she did not come in her original box how do you ladies store your Birkins to keep it in great condition? Do you ladies or would you ladies store it upwards or laying flat?

It's good that you don't have the box because if air does not circulate around leather - worst case scenario - you can get mold and the leather can smell musty.
Where you live and the ambient humidity is, of course, a very important factor.
Let 'use not store' be your motto.
Just keep in the dust bag. Flat will help prevent slouch and handle flop.
I keep my HAC flat with a small pillow; my Kelly SaD upright.

I don't keep any of my H bags in their original boxes. I store them in their dustbag with
acid free tissue paper which I change several times a year. I do not use pillows of any
kind & if one can't find acid free tissue paper, clean cotton t shirt will do the job as well

Enjoy your bag!! & agree use it don't store it...

Hi dear tPFers,
Sorry my question may sound silly, but I really need your advice. I recently purchased my first preloved Birkin from the Real Real. It is in almost mint condition and came with a bag pillow stuffed in it. Needless to say I’ve been agonizing over this, whether I should keep the pillow in the bag while I’m storing the bag or get something else. I’m
worried that the pillow is too fat and will make my bag lose its shape, but then I think that a well known site such as the Real real knows what to use for a Birkin. Will appreciate your advice. Thanks

I would go with your gut and your own observation over what TRR does. If you feel the bag pillow is too bulky, you might want to think about opening one of the seams and taking out some of the stuffing material or using sth. else entirely. There are a lot of people in this thread and other threads who have shared how they store their bags, so you might want to do a quick search.
Also, I know at least one TPF member who makes bag pillows specifically for Bs and Ks - you could also look into this option.

Congratulations on your new bag!

Can you share a picture? The pillow is probably fine if you leave your B open but you are likely correct that if you cinch the straps and top closed it will bulge.
