I modified this china cabinet to hold my H and shoes. I stuff my bags with rolled up towels After these pics I added more glass shelves on the bottom
*sigh* GORGEOUS! I love the cabinet - and how it allows you to see all of your beauties.
I store mine on the shelves purchased from homedepot!

Is it better to store the bag standing up or lying down? I kept mine standing up in the dustbag but noticed that some are keeping theirs in a dust bag and lying down in the box. And do you normally put the felt cloth under the front straps during storage (like how it came from the store)?

I've posted this already ages ago so some have already seen it. This is how I store my H bags ... in my closet ... and they're stuffed with the air pillows inside.

I really didn't have a place for a shelving unit and my house has skylights and is a Southern exposure and gets a lot of sunlight. So keeping them out really wasn't an option for me.
It worked out that I had an empty wall in the dining area of my great room. It is near the garage door and a very handy spot for a cabinet. I found the perfect one from Ballard Designs and it works really well for me.
I keep my Bolide standing in the center because there is only room for 4 bags to "rest"! There is even a shelf for my KP and Jige. If I ever want to enjoy seeing my bags, I can bring them out and stand on the top.
I do keep the bag I am carrying sitting out. If it is a sunny day, I cover it with a matching shawl until the sun moves away. Each of my bags has a coordinating cashmere (not H) shawl!

Kallie.......what a wonderful cabinet to house all of your Hermes Bags. I wish I had something where they would all be in the same place. I know what you mean about the sun........I throw something over my bags to keep them out of the direct sunlight, too!

Also yes, I also use acid free tissue paper and have not had any problems! I'm waiting for my DH to make me a 'pillow' to fit perfectly into all my 35cm! Anyone have good ideas in going about doing this??? He could use some help, but don't tell him I said this!!!
