I've got a well paid job, no children, no credits for house (I got it from my parents) the car (it's a old one) or anything else and I save a definied amount every month that goes directly from my bank-account to a bankbook. And that allows me to buy one or two Hermes bags a year.

And to answer the question, I work. I own my own apartment, my own car and pay for everything myself. Well except for the huge mortgage on my apartment that the bank was so kind to give me :smile1:
I have never been given money by anyone, I got my first part time job when I was thirteen, and I continued to work all throughout school and university.

work. work work work work and work. and of course cut down on other shopping expenses so I can have enough to buy H items without compromising my credibility with the banks.

Many pages back, someone made the excellent point that some people are lurkers who don't wish to share their entire collection. I'm not exactly a lurker, but at the same time, at my age, my collection is hardly awe-inspiring (if you ask me). That said, I'm just not entirely comfortable putting everything out there. Strictly personally, I'm not comfortable talking about what I have in excess. I'm posting new purchases sporadically, but a lot of my stuff is exciting to me and only me. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm not. Does anyone else get excited over a Kelly Double Tour or a pair of loafers? Loafers drive me wild. (Driving loafers chauffeur me wild? -- I'm terrible with jokes.)

i'm single, i work, i eat out a lot and i have 3 huge wardrobes full of marvelous stuff but: i don't like going on hollidays, i don't care for cars and i buy classic clothes that never go "out" of fashion, i mostly wait for winter/summer sales(50% to 70%off)and for special occasions friends put their money together to buy me one nice thing instead of loads of tinny silly things(for my last birthday i got an enveloppe with 3200 euro to put into my first h bag:yahoo:)
and i sized down from a 150m° appartment filled with antiques and curiosia to a 80m° one with a more contemporary, sleak, all white look to it.works wonders for the budget as well :-)
