^ITA!!! My hubby , bless him, gets the whole luxury thing. He wears Zegna, Boss, Ferragamo, etc and so appreciates designer labels. I don't have a salary for being a SAHM so H items will have to do.

Many pages back, someone made the excellent point that some people are lurkers who don't wish to share their entire collection. I'm not exactly a lurker, but at the same time, at my age, my collection is hardly awe-inspiring (if you ask me). That said, I'm just not entirely comfortable putting everything out there. Strictly personally, I'm not comfortable talking about what I have in excess. I'm posting new purchases sporadically, but a lot of my stuff is exciting to me and only me. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm not. Does anyone else get excited over a Kelly Double Tour or a pair of loafers? Loafers drive me wild. (Driving loafers chauffeur me wild? -- I'm terrible with jokes.)

I'm with you, Four Tails! My last H purchases have been a coin tray, a compass, a cadena, and a tie. That being said, I only read the H threads on this site, mainly because H has so many incredible items in categories other than purses, which is why I read a site called the PURSE forum regularly, despite my owning no purses, nor having any desire to ever own one. :smile1:

(And I'm sure the Kelly Double Tour is very pretty!)

My secret money tree, LOL. And it's not growing Orange leaves fast enough to fund my H addiction.

Well, actually I guess I'm just spoiled!! If DH doesn't spoil me, he knows that I know how to reward myself, so he just gives in. Since we work together running our business (I work whenever), it works out pretty good, considering that I also handle other responsibilities like the kids and the house. Of course, my kids are my priorities, so my H comes last after everything else.

I don't have any H bags and I'm not sure I ever will; in my head, they don't fit with my job (I work in public education). So I enjoy my scarves and bracelets and almost always carry a Coach bag. That said, DINK, both with loooow 6-figure incomes, student loans paid off, house almost paid off, healthy savings and retirement. We tithe and give to various charities and we like to travel, which keeps my spending in check. Thanks, so much, to the OP; I've wondered how people fund their H, too!

Pretty simple. I've had a nearly 20 year career in a well-paying field. I own my own business. No kids. No student loans. No car. When I owned a house, my husband and I paid in cash (we're renters now as we moved). My splurges are living in an expensive city now that I can afford it and clothes and accessories.

I buy H for my husband, not the other way around.

working, swearing to safe this time, seeing an H item, spending. Working, swearing to safe THIS time, seeing an H item, spending. Working, swearing to safe THIS TIME, seeing an H item, spending. Working, swearing to safe THIS TIME FOR REAL!, seeing an H item, spending. Go back to square one. Repeat.

I wonder if I ever can retire as my desire for H is just ever-growing!!!!! I told my hubby that I would stop after acquiring the trio but I am already thinking about getting another.... I paid for all my purchases and bought my hubby H stuff as well.... I wish it s the other way round wahaha
