Thanks Rose, I did not even know they exsist!!
Are they hard to come by? Is there a choice of material and color?
I do love my Argent Vif Gavroche in black, but I hardly ever wear it - hope that'll change soon..;)

They are easy to get hold of, they are bicolor (silver on one side and color on the other), I have 4 (prune, black, blue and pink).

I have to say Roses pics totally influenced me into buying a horn ring!!!
I love it, it seems to change colour with my scarves.
If I am wearing light scarves it seems to make it looks paler, but with darker scarves, it looks darker. I totally say get a horn ring if you can

I finally purchased one and ITA with this - it's great!

MaiTai...try the gavroche rings, perfect for the gavroche scarves.

Thanks Rose, got it today and it is perfect!!!
The little box however has not got a indent for a comfortable resting position, just some folded tissue paper ,
The boxes in which the Twilly and horn rings came in are much nicer! And yours also!
Shoud have complained, but only realised, when I was back home.:crybaby:
Looked nice, when it was still all wrapped up...

Is there a picture of the gavroche ring vs the others side by side just for comparison purposes? I was told by an SA the twilly ring would be fine for a gavroche...but I Wasn't convinced because the staying-in-place factor is huge for me.

The twilly ring is too small for the Gavroche, you really have to squeeze and push to force it through. Your poor Gavroche looks constricted and, once released, will be all crinkled up.
The Gavroche ring however fits like a glove. (Which I now got, thanks to Rose's post)

loony and i went to selfridges yesterday and they had one lone horn ring sitting next to a wood ring and we snapped them up there and then  the SA must have thought we were a bit nuts to be so excited  and i also managed to find a black de passage à tokyo twilly, i desperately wanted to get one for my cousin for christmas because she loves japan and she doesn't have anything h yet, but i couldn't find a black one anywhere, only the white/green which isn't really her style, so i'm saving it for her birthday now.

I'm wondering if I'll be more likely to wear scarves if I have a scarf ring. I definitely want one that's nice and light and won't slide, so after studying some of the threads, horn or wood sounds like the best bet. But, they also sound hard to find. Has anyone seen one anywhere?

Try Bergdorf Goodman, NYC. This link won't work to get anything Hermes (it became a link just by typing the name), but here's the info:
