Has anyone heard if the Halzan 31 will be made in blue electric this year? I've read other bags are being released in BE but the newer colors seem to only be used on the mini. I like the current blue agate from pictures, but think BE would be more WOW.
I called my closest store and the SA said the 31 Halzan will come in BE this fall. Yeah!

I am wondering how most people wear this bag. I've been using it crossbody and although I don't have that much in it, the strap hurts. Kind of bummed...

I fill mine up and after a while the strap can sometimes "dig in" a bit since it's rather narrow. (I don't have this issue with the wider J strap which also has an additional pad). If it gets heavy I carry it by hand.

Maybe someone here has done something creative with a scarf or something?

My mini halzan is the perfect travelling companion when I take a flight to pic up a new H bag. It carries a passport, lipbalm, phone, cc holder and has a nice pocket for cash. I hope I soon get an email/call that my SO is ready [emoji3]

the mini actually looks quite sufficient in terms of size! makes me want a halzan even more!

Hello there. I bought the mini as I prefer the Halzan and barenia in a smaller size. However, the mini cannot be a day to day bag unless I carry another tote to haul the rest of my stuff. But for a travel bag when I pare down my items, it is perfect. I find the outer pockets hard to use to be honest. It is on the tight side to fit a phone (mine is iPhone 6) and I would rather not risk it. Since you have the regular size already and prefer more room, it is wise to pass on the mini.
Hi mspiggy so sorry I missed your kind reply.
Thank you for the details on the outer pockets, that is very useful.
My phone is a plus so it definitely wouldn't fit.
Your gorgeous photos are really inspiring, but rationally I think the mini would be too small even though it looks so nice.
Thank you for your the re-assurance.
:hugs:

Gorgeous!!! My Halzan is my top choice as a travel bag too! So comfortable and versatile, and the pockets make it so easy to keep your boarding pass and passport readily accessible. Love that bag!

Bumping this thread to ask how everyone is liking their Halzans. For those who have had the bag for a while, do you still love it? Any problems/issues come up over time? I've been thinking of getting another Evelyne PM, but was at the boutique last week and saw the Halzan in Rouge Grenat and was surprised by how much I liked it. The thing is, I didn't like this style at all when it first came out, but (like with the Evelyne) it's really grown on me and seems super user-friendly, more versatile than the Evelyne but also maybe a bit smaller? For those of you who have both a Halzan 31 and an Evy PM, which do you prefer?

For me, the Evelyne and Halzan have some similarities but they are quite different.

I think for the Evelyne (I have 2 - a bleu electrique and a rouge pivoting) is far more casual. It is wonderful cross body out and about. I loved carrying it on vacation or when shopping since it is completely hands free.

The Halzan, on the other hand, I think just has more versatility. It can be handheld, clutch (although or me the clutch is just too big), shoulder, and cross body. I have a Barenia Halzan and a Etain clemence one - the clemence one is so squishy and flexible - I took it with me to the movies tonight and it just smooshed perfectly in my lap.

Thanks for this. I love the "smooshing in your lap" description. Love my Evies but for me they are not great "lap bags" because I'm always afraid that if they're not upright, something will fall out of the open top.

I feel myself inching towards a Halzan ...
