Yes it definitely holds its shape to me. I have barenia and in clemence. Both very hardy leathers. Clemence us great in the rain too.

I use it with or without the organizer. The bag stays the same. I use the organizer just for the convenience.

Ladies I need a little inspiration please.
I have just turned down a mini in Barenia and am slightly unsure if i should have taken it or not.
I have a full size in Barenia and when i used it I felt that it didn't hold much.
I used a bag organiser which maybe didn't help, and I was extremely protective/worrying when using it as it was the maiden voyage.
Do you ladies fully utilise your exterior pockets both mini ones and normal, especially ladies with barenia ones please.
I have said to my SA anything in Barenia, then turned the mini down, but i don't want it t be a costly mistake.
Serva and Miss Piggy's glorious pictures really make me think I was wrong.
Would really appreciate your thoughts.

I have the regular size Halzan in Barenia and have always thought it held a ton. I never use bag organizers except in large totes such as the Double Sens and GP36. At the moment I have had no need to use any of the pockets but please do not worry about it. Barenia will generally be fine. If the mini is too small then pass and wait for another style Barenia bag.

Is it Clemence? If it's your first bag in this leather you should know that it is soft and what some describe as floopy. Hardy yes, hard/stiff/structured no

Congrats on your medium barenia halzan, isn't it pretty with the potiron lining![emoji7] As for size, the mini halzan is perfect for me but you seem to carry much more and personally I wouldn't buy 2 barenia halzans, although they are so cute. I don't use a bag organiser in my mini halzan or my small picotin. It's nice to feel the leather inside these two bags. As for the pockets, I've used the outside pocket once, but I don't carry my bag so often. Just recently attached the strap, I like handheld bags but the strap is ok with the halzan. Also I like the patina to develop evenly on both.

Thank you for your response. I do own a Evelyne in clemence and love it, but the Halzan is such a different style which why I wondered if it would get too soft. I would rotate it a lot and I am fairly careful. I'm still considering this bag as I just love Hermes colors.

clemence halzan will eventually get slouchy as clemence leather gets softer through usage
if u go to some reseller sites you will see how some preloved halzan look over time

Hi periogirl thank you for responding.
I think the organiser didn't help, it was a MaiTai K28 which fitted well, and protected the interior, but I think probably took too much room up.
I need to get over the "babying" and enjoy using my bags, but it is a hard thing to do, I think I am just too nervous which is stopping me enjoying.
I was considering the pockets for my reading glasses or sunnies etc.
I would love another piece of Barenia, but logically I think the mini isn't the best choice, but it is Barenia!
I have this idyllic image of me wafting around with a mini slung over me, with just a few essentials, but the reality is, that is the fantasy me and not the real one. I always seem to take a scarf, which I then need to put away when I am eating etc, and the mini wouldn't do that either.
Thank you for your re-assurance, I will wait somewhat impatiently.

Thank you, it is pretty, I love bags with different colour interiors.
I think the issue with size is I am trying to adjust to what is reality now compared to then.
I now have a larger phone, a iPhone plus compared to a 4, and need to carry reading glasses.
I used to easily use my Chanel Half Moon WOC which held everything, but now with a larger phone and glasses, it just wouldn't, which is why I am wondering if a mini would also be too small.
I can just about get away with my Evelyn TPM, but it is a bit difficult as everything is quite tightly packed, and you almost have to re-pack each time you take one thing out.
I though that if I could distribute the extra's in the exterior pockets then it might make things easier.
I think passing is the right choice, oh but for a large money tree to just say yes without consequences!
I will live vicariously through your lovely photo's of you enjoying your's, please do keep posting them, they always look so lovely.

Hello there. I bought the mini as I prefer the Halzan and barenia in a smaller size. However, the mini cannot be a day to day bag unless I carry another tote to haul the rest of my stuff. But for a travel bag when I pare down my items, it is perfect. I find the outer pockets hard to use to be honest. It is on the tight side to fit a phone (mine is iPhone 6) and I would rather not risk it. Since you have the regular size already and prefer more room, it is wise to pass on the mini.

I am loving everyone's Halzan here, I love how this bag can be worn in so many different ways, am thinking of buying one. I love the color Malachite, do you think it will come in this color? I have checked the US Hermes website and all I see are oranges and blues. Thank you for your help.
