I do wish it converted much easier from crossbody to shoulder but I probably need to 're-read the manual!'

Thanks for letting me share.
What a beauty! Congrats. Yes, mine is in shoulder bag length mode as I’m too lazy to convert it to crossbody. I’m sure it gets easier once we get the hang of it.

That's my worry too--I have fallen in "strong like" with the hassan but have not bought one yet because of this issue. Can anyone who owns one share their thoughts on strap comfort?
Though I researched the heck out of the Halzan, and after a year of hemming and hawing, I finally bought one last month. The thin strap was perhaps my biggest concern and I’ve yet to solve the issue. I swapped straps with my 25 sangle cavale and that helped a little with the comfort level. My next experiment is to find (probably through Etsy or Amazon) a small, discreet and on tone padded shoulder pad to wrap or slip though the strap. For visualization, think the strap for the Jypsiere.
