Depends on how you use the bag. I often wear mine holding it by the handles but that will leave the bag open. When wearing it as a clutch I do not use the buckle and leave it open. When using it cross-body I also don‘t properly close it and either leave it open (not using the buckle at all) or I just put the latch through the buckle without securing it using the holes so I can easily pull it back when I need to open the bag. The good thing with the Halzan is that you can even open the buckle with one hand when wearing it close to the body. Hence, either way, think it is quite simple to open (but still secure enough).

I never use the buckle to lock. I either leave it folded while using as shoulder bag or crossbody. Often just carry it by the handles as well.

A few days ago at my home store in a NYC, there was a bleu encre (I believe) with ghw on display. It’s not impossible - they’re out there! Thanks @sf_newyorker ! I've been annoying my SA and every store I've traveled to in the past year (about 6) for a Halzan 31, bright colour, ghw.

I almost gave up on it and now it's here. I'm really feeling pleased.
Originally I wanted a red/orange/pink family but it's probably true that this bag/size is better in a neutral.

I was at the Palo Alto boutique yesterday and my SA was saying that at the moment, at least within the vicinity of Northern California, gold Halzan 31s were a little hard to source right now, so really congrats! Can’t wait to see your pics!

Tell me about it! I saw one on display in Jan in vert Vérone, but was too scared to ask about it at the time. Nothing until AW seasonal leathers out and recently I have been offered vert Bosphore (twice) and deep blue (twice) both colors which are lovely but too dark for me.

I see how difficult it is to get neutral colours generally but the ghw was tricky enough on its own!!!

I’m seriously considering the deep blue!
