Thank you! It does have a certain elegance that silver HW doesn’t have. It’s such a workhorse. The SA cringed when I said I want to stuff my iPad in it.

I can and do! Slide under the straps with the case on. Plus umbrella and bottle of water. Shoes when I need (in a shoe bag of course - I always would but that was my SA's request)
If it couldn't do this things I would not have fallen in love!

Shoes too?!! And you don’t mean all those things together right?! I’m a little scared to put water bottle in it. Last time my wet wipes leaked in my Goyard and almost gave me a heart attack.

I love it. I almost feel like I need another color!

I do day trips on the airplane sometimes.

So far I've managed (separately): iPad+ keyboard + umbrella + passport holder + cardholder + water bottle on top bag in tote format

Umbrella + Chanel sling backs + notebook + cardholder

Lunchbox (inside envirosac) + umbrella

I could buy a ghw étain!! But I'll try some other bags first. Honestly the ability to change from shoulder carry to tote effortlessly is soooo my lifestyle - think tote when picking up from security check and then shoulder once I've gotten myself together a few steps later..

Two weeks “new”, my first Halzan, in Gris Etain GHW. I’m not usually a gold HW person but the SA brought it out brand new in sealed box. She insisted that this gold+gray is a very sought after combination.

I used to think it is so impractical until I tried it out, then I realized it’s a rare ”function and style in one” purse!

Does anyone know if the halzan 31 comes in any leather other than Barenia and Clemence? Also would the size 31 considered to be a heavy bag? I really love the versatility of the bag but would hesitate to purchase if it’s too heavy. TIA

It's not heavy at all empty. Even when I load it up (hmm last night a notebook, bottle of prossecco, eye glasses case, card holder and small makeup bag for the short walk home) it's manageable with the handles.

Try one out!

I am only aware of Clémence, Barenia and Barenia Faubourg but agree with @De sac that it is not heavy, neither empty nor full. If it became heavy, you could easily switch the way of wearing it - by hand, shoulder, cross-body or even as a clutch.

It took 8 months for me to find ghw. There were a few offered in the seasonal deep blue and vert bosphore, which I declined. Then my SA 'found' a gold ghw (Clemence) which I happily accepted- a few weeks ago I noticed a gold ghw on the H site!

I haven't seen barenia with ghw.

It took 8 months for me to find ghw. There were a few offered in the seasonal deep blue and vert bosphore, which I declined. Then my SA 'found' a gold ghw (Clemence) which I happily accepted- a few weeks ago I noticed a gold ghw on the H site!

I haven't seen barenia with ghw.

I just called my SA and she said she has noir, grey white, a green in stock. That’s her exact word...lol I may consider black in its in GHW. But I do have a Evelyne Pm and mini Evelyne noir palladium and picotin noir palladium... do you think it’s black is a good option here?
