Hooray for the Halzan...

I just called my SA and she said she has noir, grey white, a green in stock. That’s her exact word...lol I may consider black in its in GHW. But I do have a Evelyne Pm and mini Evelyne noir palladium and picotin noir palladium... do you think it’s black is a good option here?

It's a totally different bag than what you have now - closest in capacity size to the evie PM I think. It can dress up more than anything you have when the straps are short, although still Clemence and possibly with contrast stitching will never be as dressy as a Kelly Sellier.
There's a recent post of "gray" (étoupe or étain) a few pages back with ghw and I'd add that neutral right away! Still goes with everything but it's a change from black

I do have a kelly in Etoupe and etain in GHW in my current collection. As you can see I am a neutral girl so it’s so hard to have more variety when it comes to neutral colors. I guess I will go in and see how i feel about the noir. Hopefully she will have more option then she told me on the phone! Very excited to add this style as I have only heard great things about it

It took 8 months for me to find ghw. There were a few offered in the seasonal deep blue and vert bosphore, which I declined. Then my SA 'found' a gold ghw (Clemence) which I happily accepted- a few weeks ago I noticed a gold ghw on the H site!

I haven't seen barenia with ghw.

Gold with GHW!! That sounds divine! Gold is my desire but I am always too worried that it would clash with the gray part of my wardrobe.

I really love Halzan now. It carries everything and can be dressed up so easily. My only “complaint” is that my laptop doesn’t fit...I’m still in search of a good laptop bag.

Two weeks “new”, my first Halzan, in Gris Etain GHW. I’m not usually a gold HW person but the SA brought it out brand new in sealed box. She insisted that this gold+gray is a very sought after combination.

I used to think it is so impractical until I tried it out, then I realized it’s a rare ”function and style in one” purse!

Absolutely stunning! I am torn between two bags the Halzan in Magnolia or the Evelyn in rose Extreme. Any thoughts? how do you like the Halzan so far? Pros/Cons?

Would appreciate any advice on my most recent purchase. I was looking for a colorful Halzan mini for the longest time (as per the comments above, I assume chances will be low to find one until next year when production will be stopped) as well as a striking large Halzan, the latter preferably in green, blue or red. Stumbled upon a large Rose Extreme Halzan on Monday and received it this morning. The colour is beautiful (I only saw it on smaller bags and SLGs some time ago and RE always appealed to me somehow) but I wonder if it would be better suited for a Halzan Mini as it is quite loud. I can surely wear pop colours as most of my wardrobe consists of neutrals (as well as few primary colours), but my collection is “supposed“ to stay small in order to rotate through what I have as much as possible. I went through some older threads with a certain consensus of people preferring Rose Extreme for smaller bags and I see where this comes from.
I would only wear it during my free time but 1. don’t want to get tired of the colour quickly, 2. don’t want my bag to distract from what I am wearing but rather nicely complement my outfits and 3. I also don’t want to attract too much attention. So far I only have a BE Mini which I am happy with so this would be my first large Halzan.

Any objective (or even subjective) thoughts are welcome. Thanks in advance!

FUNNY! I am trying to decide between a Halzan in Magnolia and a Evelyn in Rose Extreme. At first I thought WOW colors are SO BRIGHT! But the more I thought about it the more about it the more I love the color pop. It really looks fun/flirty/. Its like a statement piece. Any pros/cons of the Halzan? Still haven't decided. HELP!

I can’t speak for Evelyn since I don’t own one, though that was a conscious decision. Evelyn feels too casual to me and isn’t as versatile. Also, I tend to like wider and shorter purses rather than narrower and taller ones. I felt it allows for more “real estate” to stand things up rather than on top of each other.

That was for my personal reason against Evelyn.

As for the pros and cons for Halzan, I think the size is just right to bring a little more than the essentials. I can usually squeeze my small iPad in there, with a case!

Obviously the versatility of turning from handbag to shoulder bag to crossbody is unbeatable. The best part is when you switch from mode to mode, it doesn’t feel forced; the bag felt like it was designed for the mode of choice. I’ve never used it as clutch; I carry too many things.

It is also pretty enough to dress up if needed.

The only “con” I felt was that it doesn’t fit my MacBook Pro. But honestly, it probably was for the best.

OH MY I WAS JUST GOING TO POST THAT SAME THING!!!! I spoke with 2 DIFFERENT SA in 2 DIFFERENT CITIES and was TOLD NEXT SEASON HERMES WILL NOT PRODUCE HALZAN MINI AT ALL and HALZAN 31! Can anyone else confirm this?? I was just about to purchase one NOW I MOST DEF WILL NOT! I will wait for Chanel Cruise on Friday

THATS exactly why I was leaning toward one BUT I was just told by a second SA in a completely different city that next season Hermes will NO LONGER Produce the Halzan in both the mini and 31. She said they are focusing efforts on other designs! Well I guess the Halzan is out for me

My SA was not able to confirm and has just returned from Paris. I wonder if it’s the same as with the Jypsière this year. H lowered production numbers in favor of selling more Halzans but the Jypsière was not discontinued, just produced less.

I think you made the right decision. I found out Hermes is "halting production" on the Halzan this coming season. So rethinking the Halzan altogether

That could be a possibility. I know Hermes and especially Chanel are taking a HUGE hit from the reselling market. Maybe Hermes thinks the less bags we produce the more they are worth the more ppl will want them. Supply and demand(similar to Birkins/Kellys). Would actually love to know whats really going on!

I would suggest to get what works for you, maybe look at the resale market first yourself if you want to try out the Halzan first before paying full retail. They are not flooding the market but I am sure you will find some interesting ones out there for a decent price.

The bag seems like it would work although its a little big but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make. To be honest I stay FAR away from the resale market. Too many horror stories and its not worth the hassle. So if i am going to get it I will just uy it from Hermes. That being said Chanels Cruise is the worst collection I have seen in years, so at least my $ is safe from there! haha
