Saptae,do you have a picture of your bag insert inside your Halzan? I’m looking for a bag insert for my newly bought Halzan. Will appreciate if you can post your picture.

Sure! Here you go - hope you can make out the charcoal-blue insert :) The height of the insert is not as high as the bag and it has four side-pockets...handy for keeping things organised

She looks amazing! I almost bought the same one last month but opted for another Evie. I tell myself that if the Halzan ever came in Bleu Nuit GHW, it’s an automatic buy. Please let us know your thoughts after carrying her for awhile.

I actually returned an evie for this! Will keep you posted after trying it for a bit longer- but so far, I LOVE how practical and spacious it is!

Thinking about purchasing a halzan 31. Anyone has photos of the inside buckle parts where the strap is attached to the bag? I’m worried about overloading the bag and causing the leather to stretch. Anyone can speak to the wear and tear of this bag after 1year+ of use? TIA.

Had one of mine for 3+ years & carried it everywhere, still looks new. I highly recommend using an insert because I saw a lady wearing one with a droopy bottom & it wasn't pretty. I would worry more about the bottom than stretching the strap. img_7899.jpg

I have a mini halzan in swift leather.. kind of regret because the leather is so fragile. A little bit water will sink in a cause a damp patch spot on the leather, giving me heart attack. Luckily it dries off and disappear. But I always have to be extra careful when going toilet to wash hands..

Enjoy your bag.... i have a 6year old swift lindy which i use alot including for traveling. It has been in the rain many times (couple times caught in a downpour) and it is fine.

Hi All,

I've had my Halzan 31 for about a month. I love it. I'm a one handbag kind of woman, and will probably carry it almost exclusively, as I live a pretty casual lifestyle, as a professor, writer, personal trainer, and single mom of two boys. While I love, love, love the practical construction of the Halzan 31, what I was not living was that my notebook was causing my bag to sag on the bottom. I am a writer and have carried a notebook since I was nine years old. I basically carry a handbag to have something in which to put my notebook. If the bag cannot support my notebook, in my opinion, it serves no purpose.

I considered getting an insert and even tried one in the bag. But I actually love leather. I love the way it feels. I love the way it feels to reach my hand into my bag to get my things. I am not trying to keep my bag pristine or anything like that. So, the insert seemed like overkill and made the interior of the bag smaller.

So, I hacked a supportive bottom for my bag. I took a bottom out of a Henri Bendel "bonus tote," removed the satin cover, cut it to size, rounded the edges (God forbid the pointy edges poked a dent in the leather), and temporarily covered it with a scarf (I'll come up with something more permanent).

But look at the difference! That saggy bottom wasn't cute and I think it would have caused a permanent problem over time.
