Sorry to ask again---do any of you have the all black (no white top stitching) 31 Halzan and do you use it day to night when traveling? If not, would you? Thank you!

I dont have Halzan in all black.
But to answer your question re: use as an evening bag, I think you can definitely use it as a shoulder bag, and perhaps pair it with a twilly knot to dress it up a bit.
But I think Halzan 31 maybe a bit too big to be carried as a clutch, the mini size maybe better as an evening clutch.

Having said that I do not use my halzan for formal evenings

Thank you azukitea! I wasn’t thinking formal events but more like out to dinner...
Really appreciate your thoughts. [emoji173]️

Something you guys probably have heard a thousand times, but I am usually to be found on the Chanel forum. Been buying Chanel for years and only ever purchased Hermes shoes and jewelry which I adore. I was never that interested in an H bag with the exception of a Kelly one day (already declined several Ks and Cs since I knew they would not work with my current lifestyle), the Halzan caught my eye one year ago. Been lurking this thread since then and actually chose to purchase it back in April. Since then, I tried to get one in a particular colour I had set my eyes on. It was nearly impossible (it was available online, but I prefer buying from the boutique). All colours came in except for the one I wanted in a size 31. I nearly bought green and red but last minute decided to wait. Went to the store yesterday for some earrings and my better half came with me. He saw the mini size which I never considered due to its capacity and leather type and made me try it on in Bleu Zanzibar. I am only using large shoppers from Mon-Fri since I carry my laptop to work every day, so all my other bags only get used on the weekends. I was surprised about how lightweight it was and how perfectly it went with my proportions. Needless to say, I instantly fell in love with the mini but none was left in the colour I wanted. The SA left to do another check and didn't return for about 20 minutes. When she came back, she carried a box and I was finally able to see and try the Halzan in Bleu Électrique - the colour I had wanted.

Glad I listened to my better half and tried on the mini. Since I don't need it as an everyday bag, I am more than content with what my Halzan can carry. The stitching and overall workmanship on this little beauty is superb. Very happy with my first Hermes bag (and yes, I assume this is going to be another slippery slope...).

Congrats! She’s gorgeous!

Thank you. Serva! Your mini barenia is one of my inspirations. I'm taking mine for a trip tomorrow. I'm very confident it will be a great travel companion after reading all of your ladies' experience. Happy weekend!

Thank you [emoji1] Have a nice trip and a relaxing weekend, so glad you enjoy your new H bag. I think it’s great to have options for B/K.

Would you guys pick etoupe or an off-white gray for the Halzan?

Is a light color clemence leather hard to keep clean? I don’t baby bags but I don’t throw em around too much either.

The etouple looks so solid for this bag. Like it’s meant to be in this particular color (as a casual bag), but the white... the white is soooooo crisp and clean! I loved it!

Now I am in a state of deep conflict. :( Just need some advice...

I like it in etoupe, I think Halzan is meant to be an everyday bag, etoupe would be safer
