She doesn't look like a size 4 to me either but the camera can play tricks. I'm sure she still had some swelling because the surgery was done only a few weeks before the photo shoot & wedding (according to the show). She doesn't have a waist; her midsection is just straight. Her scars will fade with time but I think the doctor could have removed more excess skin than he did. Her skin was stretched out for so many years, I don't think it will shrink back on it's own. I actually watched the show last night just to see how the surgery turned out. It also doesn't look like surgery got rid of all of her turkey neck either from how she looked on the show. I congratulate her for loosing so much weight but unless she commits to a complete lifestyle change, she won't stay a size 4, 6, 8,10 or whatever. She still needs to help Alana & Pumpkin to lose weight. It may be tough with Sugar Bear & his new wife encouraging Alana's unhealthy eating. It looks like obesity runs in her family since her sister & her brother/cousin (the guy who watched the girls while she was in California) are obese as well. Alana is going to have a life full of health problems unless she gets her weight under control. June has gone through a tremendous body change. I would think that would encourage her daughters to adopt a healthier lifestyle after seeing what June went through to get there. They don't seem supportive for a committed change. Kenya should move in with them & crack the whip on all of them.
It's hard for me to keep sweets out of my house. DH has as big of a sweet tooth as I do, but I'm working to get him to cut back. He still drinks soda & eats things with real sugar while I stopped sodas, except for the occasional one I may drink every 6 months or so & I use Splenda or Truvia to sweeten things. I have gotten him to eat more salads & more healthier prepared food but it's tough to stay on a diet when there's chips & dip, cookies, cheesecake, candy, & ice cream in the house because he won't give those up. I cook with minimal salt but he still salts his food before he even tastes it. That's not good for his blood pressure. It's a daily struggle so I don't know if June will have long term success as long as her daughters continue to eat junk food all the time. All that surgery & pain is a lot to go through to just revert back to old habits. Time will tell. Now once this show is over, what will she do with her life. Will she try for a new reality show????
