I was 18 and it was BD gift from my dad. I was not into Chanel back then... only very recently that I started to appreciate Chanel.

i was 18 when my parents bought me a black lambskin e/w style flap as part of my graduation gift. i found it too old looking for me (at the time) and returned it to my mother...and got a LV bag instead. the first chanel i bought myself was when i was 27

LOL! I also thought Chanel flaps were really "old-fashioned" and for older women.

For some reason though, once I tried on the jumbo, I had to have one.
