I think Holly was a gold digger a delusional one at that. In fact i recall a interview Hef did after the first or second season and he was asked when did he know he know he loved Holly, and he said something to the effect of after watching the first season, he never realized how much work Holly did to make him happy. At that point they've been together for about 4-5years and he didn't love her until after the first season?!? Hef had no interest in getting married or having kids with her. Those are normal things for her to want but she can't really be hurt by it because he made his intentions clear. She finally bounced when she couldn't get pregnant through ivf. It's the same kind of delusional thinking when a woman wants to get pregnant to save her marriage, that just doesn't work. I'm sure if her ivf treatments worked she'd still be there. She wanted to get pregnant for her payout she'll be tied to playboy forever with that golden ticket. She was also trying to weasel her way into the company as well and the real employees had to put up with her nonsense because she was the bosses GF. She'd probably be fighting his daughter for control of the conpany if she had his kid. I also think him getting engaged so soon after they split was a huge thorn in her side. She was probably thinking i put in 7 years of work into that guy and this is the thanks i get. I think she several different reasons to be motivated to do the book. First is obviously financial gains, second keeping herself in the spotlight, third help minimize the impact her former lifestyle will have on her kids the info is out there better it comes from her than a 3rd party, and lastly to let people know living at the mansion wasn't all kittens and sunshine like they play it off to be. Ex girlfriends have written about what goes on there so I don't think there will be anything all that shocking in the book, it's just more relevant because the show wasn't that long ago so it's fairly current info in that respect.

ITA! She's obviously looking for fame and attention, and wealth. Hefner was her claim to those things and she comes across as bitter that he wouldn't marry her after being his "number one girlfriend" for years. She has very little self-respect. I really wonder what her childhood was like, to make her like this.

IMO putting someone on blast does not make someone a victim... Being a victim would be not moving on with your life while blaming someone else... I don't want to live in a world where no one is called out for their actions. Holly annoyed me more than anyone on their reality show, but I'm happy for her that she realized what she was doing wasn't what she should be doing and left.

I'm interested in her book. Other people aren't, and other people think she's lying, and that's okay.

I see what you are saying let me explain my position on this alittle better.

I don't think she is lying but from what I have seen thus far it seems as though she is twisting the situation making her look more innocent in it than she was which is why I call it playing the victim. She claimed in an interview " what did he think he could buy me?" when he was going to leave her 3 mill in his will instead of marrying her however wasn't he buying her since day one? If she wasn't living in a mansion, enjoying mingling with the rich and famous, getting money, designer clothes, all her needs met, a Porsche would she have been there all those years in the first place?

Sometimes it's hypocritical to call someone out for their actions. In my opinion she is no better than he is. She wanted a child with him so she could be the only girlfriend and marry him once she realized heff couldn't produce a baby puffin she skitdatelled, it had nothing to do with realizing what she was doing wasnt right. If she could of had that puffin and if Heff allowed it she would still be there spending his money. In my opinion she knew she had no security without the ring or baby and probably knew she was on verge of being replaced. I think they all knew and that's why they all left around the same time, he was probably bored of them.

Yeah he was such a bad man for years we watched her beg pled and cry for him to marry her and have babies with him. Yeah, he was a regular Jim Jones.

I just ordered her book from Amazon! I will let you all know if it's a good read. Although IMO 21.00 dollars (that's including shipping & handling) is pretty steep for a trashy beach book, or bunny book. (Chelsea Handler's books are in the same category of good trashy beach books and they sell them in store for less than 5.00 dollars.)
I read Kendra's book, and although I like Kendra, I felt that her book was boring and the writing was not good...just extremely talentless, not good writing...she's definitely not an author. She also is very careful not to say anything bad about the mansion, so you won't get to know any secrets at all. I read Bunny Tales by Izabella St. James and felt like she did the total opposite, and slammed the mansion/made everyone but her seem like bad people probably so more people buy her book.
Hopefully Holly's book is just going to be an honest account of what happened in her own words.

It depends on whether you think an incomplete story is being honest. It will be the story she wants to tell. So you know she will paint herself in the best possible light and leave out anything that might make the reader unsympathetic towards her.

Still, the publisher will want to make sure you are getting your $21 worth. I'm sure the book is pumped full of salacious drama. :D

I read her husband is a multi millionaire so she didn't exactly lose. I saw a clip of Kendra giving her opinion and that girl is always so damn over the top. Both of them have said they were never that close and Kendra is all "I never want to speak to her again." Wonder where Bridget is?
