Hi all,
I wanted to write a post detailing my experiences with the Hermes store in Warszawa, Poland.
When I discovered I was going to be flying to Poland for a month, I got extremely excited. A new Hermes store for me to experience! I have plenty of family here, so I was hopeful I could make this my main store. I tried calling, and no one ever picked up the phone.
I reached out to a fabulous TPFer who gave me two contacts to reach out to at the store.
I reached out to one. No reply for a day. Okay, maybe they’re away for the day or on vacation, I can wait. A week goes by and I see no one has even read the message, so I use the second number for the assistant manager, who replies!
I explain I will be traveling and that I am looking for multiple items: a bag (or two!), belt, shoes, jewelry, scarfs, etc.
I notice she avoids answering certain questions of mine, but I brush it off cause I am so excited to start a new relationship in a county I frequently spend time in! I ask if she is available the day I arrive for an appointment, and she texts me back “I hope

” uh… don’t you know your schedule? But okay…
The day of arrival, I text her if she is in, and we set an appointment for 2 pm. When I arrive at 2 pm, she is with a client and just sends over an associate to help me.
Okay, sure, I prefer to stay with one person as she already knows everything, but that’s okay. I am flexible and I am still excited.
I start with going through my list, and they. Have. Nothing.
scarf ring? No
Belt? Only online
Bracelet? Too small. Doesn’t even offer to order online
Shoes? Not the colors I asked for
Bag? Hahahaha
Wallet? No
Clutch? No
Scarf? Doesn’t even bother to check
Jige? Yes. Here is one with leather ripping from the back tab. She grabs it from me and claims it is glue and they can fix it. I wasn’t aware torn leather was glue but okay…
I mention to the new associate that I requested a Rodeo, and was told the assistant manager would put it aside for me. She says none are in, and the one that just came in for display, was also sold
Trying not to get annoyed, I see a lovely bag on display, but I am told that the display items are not for sale (even though she had just admitted to selling a display item).
I ask if more stock is arriving, and I am told to come back the next morning.
I arrive the next morning as the store opens, and as I walk in, there is no one. No associates, no security, no one. I awkwardly stand around alone and walk right out. Maybe they’re having a pow wow in the back so I decide to take a walk and return.
I return and the Assistant manager finally speaks to me, and says that she just received thirty delivery boxes, and she will let me know if ANY of my items that I want to buy are available, and to return back at 6 pm that day as she does not know what is in the boxes. Okay, that’s fine. My hotel is across the street, no problem.
I come back at 6 pm and I ask for the manager.
This is where I am debating even staying with Hermes at all.
I am very disappointed to say that the service i received at this store was disgustingly upsetting. The assistant manager refused to see me when she agreed to meet me at six . Her associate told me none of my items came in. She only mentioned that a navy Evelyne 16 would be coming in in two weeks (I didn’t know they get a list of upcoming deliveries, why didn’t they check the list when I asked?) I asked if she meant a bleu nuit Evelyne, and she’s like oh no the traditional navy color. I asked again, what is the name of the color. She got uncomfortable and was like “you know, navy”. Clearly that’s not the name of the color, so I asked again. When she looked it up on her phone, she confirmed it was bleu nuit. So I looked at her, and I’m like, so you just offered me a duplicate of the bag that I can currently wearing? She had nothing else to say except to come back.
I inquired about adding a wish list as the assistant manager had mentioned it to me earlier, and then associate told me that any wish lists are closed. I asked for clarification as the assistant manager had brought it up. She said that I was mistaken, and that wish lists are not available. I can come back in two weeks to do it. I asked if I would have to be in store to open a wish list and she said yes. I then asked why would I come back in two weeks to open my wish list if I was already in store.
the associate made a comment that basically told me that they have enough clients and they do not want my business. When i asked her point black if she meant that i am unwelcome here, she smirked.
I’m sorry i am not here with a birkin while I’m traveling to multiple places and i didn’t drop any money because you had no items that i wanted in stock. No shoes in my size, no scarfs that i specifically wanted, or jewelry in my size. She was shocked I point blank called her out on it and asked if she meant I may as well leave and never come back as they are not interested in my money or my being a client. She again smirked and asked me to wait as she went to the back to talk to the AM who was now hiding in the back to see what my relationship to my SA was.
After a few minutes of waiting (during which the security and another SA stood around w
looking at both me and my husband while half pointing fingers) she came back and said she can add me to a list that adds me to a wish list. And to have a nice day. I looked at her, said sure, and walked out
I am appalled. I walked out without buying any item that I saw in store that I liked. Like you said you have thirty boxes of items to take out from delivery, and you have nothing to attempt to sell me? They also avoided speaking to my husband who was there with me, forcing me to translate. I highly believe items I had wanted had come in, but the AM refused to sell to me and hid in the back for our appointment, for reasons unknown to me
I know Hermes plays games, but even with wallets and shoes and scarf rings?! None of the items I wanted to buy were a B/K/C, and apparently even my asking for a picotin was a wish list item here. In the States even display items are for grabs.
I just wanted to write this to warn anyone else of the Warszaw Hermes Store in Poland. And I highly highly do not recommend even the store manager, Agnieszka or her associates.
Such unprofessional and extremely rude behavior not only made a poor impression of my trip to Warszaw as I was staying two hours away, but may have me rethink Hermes overall.
