I stopped dead in my tracks when you mentioned lime toolbox. I do like lime, it's my 3rd kelly. Your picture does not to my eye pick up the ever so slight greenish undertone I would expect in the Lime TB, as in the kelly. Is this just the light the picture was taken in, perhaps a very warm light? The reason I ask is that I was too late to get a lime belt so I ordered jaune naples. That turned out to be a yellow with a peachy undertone, not the citrus or citron that lime is. Returned the belt, I'm a green gal. If you have a pix of the Lime TB where it's greenish, I would really appreciate it as I'm thinking of getting a TB in lime as I said. This is a little OCD (overdosing on lime) on my part but I like lime so much it's a pleasant thought. Also, could I see the GP in Jaune Ambre? I've seen a shot or two in the leather colors thread and that is a nice color for sure.

Congrats on all your acquisitions.

Thanks, eagle1002us. Yes, this TB20 Lime was taken in the H store of my home country under warm lights. I deleted pic of her in a different lighting which looked more "greenish".

Here's another pic of her taken by my SA in the store. Not sure if it helps as same warm lighting.

And also the GP20 Jaune Ambre.20191118_195420.jpg 20191114_012304.jpg

I haven't seen Jaune Ambre IRL. It occurs to me that your bag is like a light Hermes gold color. Would you agree? It is a pretty color and it does make me think of amber . . .

I have gold on the brain b/c I recently got a gold bag. It was what the SA brought to me, I was surprised she pulled that one, I was expecting some other color. . But it's a K35 and I was carrying an oversized bag from almost a decade ago so I can see why she went large.

To me H gold doesn't resemble a gold color, it never did. So I'm thinking of all the things it reminds me of thus far -- caramel, peanut butter, etc. As colors go, these things are not bad b/c they are colors that complement light brown hair. I have workhorses in caramel and peanut in my wardrobe.

I adore your Lime toolbox.

Thanks dear. I love her very much too. To think I nearly passed her as I was unsure if I wanted another yellow bag!

Jaune Ambre is mustard yellow which I have been eyeing for some time. I didn't expect GP30 to come in this colour.

I have Halzan 31 in gold, but it looks like tan colour. Usually, I prefer to have my H babies in different colours. I like to be surprised by H seasonal colours.

I have maybe over half a dozen yellow (citron or lemon) bags from the last decade. I don't think they're all leather and they weren't expensive, b/c they tend to be drawstring bags which are handy for access to a bottle of water. So I have this lime K, as I said. which to me was the epitome of a yellow bag. Then I was in a boutique out of town this summer and saw a Lime Victoria or Plume which was TDF. I said how can I even consider another yellow bag? But I don't have a toolbox and it looks so cute. The important thing to me is getting just the right yellow -- a vivid (some might say neon) yellow with a greenish undertone. I am glad I encountered your yellow collection, it is inspiring.

Do you like the way the toolbox closes with a turnlock? Does that work for you?
Usually with a K I'm strapping the thing closed so I know it's secure.

In the yellow section on Hermes Leathers in tpf someone got a bag in Jaune Ambre and said it was a little autumnal. A yellow that coordinates with fall colors but is not as deep as a moutarde, I'd like that, too!

I have been considering a toolbox but I am wondering if the turnlock on the top of the bag is sufficient to keep it closed when you're wearing it and maybe banging up against people in a crowded setting (think rush hour commutes, crowded escalators, etc.). Of course I suppose one could use a Hermes lock to shut it securely but I'm sure I'll bend the key or misplace it at some point. So I am mainly interested in the functionality of the tool box: do people feel safe with it on their shoulders or in their hands?
The lock is sufficient for security if you are in a crowded place. Even if somebody manages to unlock it, the shape of the bag prevents one from sticking their hands all the way inside. I feel safe carrying it around.
Banging the bag into others when it's crowded is another thing. I have to maneuver to not bang it onto something. I would normally carry it in my shoulder and put it in my front. This problem is not unique with the toolbox though, I have the same problem with my Lindy and to some extent on my Kelly.

Thank you, that's helpful.

Sorry, I've bought several H bags this year and haven't used them all yet, so unable to comment much if the toolbox turnlock closure works for me or not.

Even it's a little annoying, I can forgive and adapt quickly for those things I absolutely adore, more so when H stores of my home country seldom receive a TB, let alone one in size 20 and such a sunshine colour.

I called H Madison Ave today and among my questions was whether Lime TB are still available. Fortunately, they are N/A b/c I really do not need another bag. You were right to get the bag when it was available, especially with a supplier like H which is unpredictable. Wear it in good health. Meanwhile, I'll try to get some use out of my Lime K!

Thanks love. Indeed, scoring a H bag off the shelf in a colour which speaks to your heart isn't something that happens every day. I'll surely treasure her. Enjoy your Lime K too. I'm sure I'll get a K someday as well. ;)

Has anyone changed their strap to wear the smallest size crossbody? I have never seen any images or videos where someone has done crossbody with a longer strap, so if you have done it I'd love to see or know how it looks and works out.

I don't think TB is a bag which looks good when worn crossbody even with a longer strap as it's kinda broad and will look bulky.
