Do you mind if I ask if you are a curvy, straight figure or normal figure? Do you plan to wear her on your shoulder? I would think the 20 would work on you and if you don't carry too much capacity wise the 20 is better IMO. Can you try them on at a store?
I have a straight figure (UK 36-38 or US 2-4). I plan to carry the bag on my shoulder and by top handle
if the 20 is too small, will i look funny with it?
If you plan to carry on your shoulder you have to think about how much it might stick out since it is so boxy. I'm way shorter than you at 5"1 so I avoid carrying it with the shoulder strap and only hand carry. It's a tough call which size will look better on you. Since you say the Lindy 26 looks funny on you I can't imagine which TB will look better. Can you get to the store?I have a straight figure (UK 36-38 or US 2-4). No slouchy feel. I don't like slouchy bags per say but on the other hand I don't like super structured bags like the Constance. I'm in between
But I don't like my handbags to get sloppy looking if you know what I mean. I'm not familiar with the novillo leather but evercolor is known to be a little stiffer. Here is a pic of her with the organizer inside. She is Etain.

i wish i never bought my TB 26. Got a 20 and it's perfect!!
i bring quite a bit (azap long wallet, pouch with lippie, tissues, tape measure, mirror, etc) but the tb 20 holds them all!!
the 20 is also cute & stylish.
I felt the 26 is huuge but perfect for airports as i chuck my sweater in. I usually carry more in airports too. I also have a stiff bag organizer for the 26. For the 20 I don't.
i'm a short 157 cm / size 6 or 8 US. hope this helps.

i don;t think it will look odd on you. so many tall girls carrying small bags and they pull it off perfectly.
for me, i don;t really think if it will suit me or not (I don't do gargantuan & mini mini bags). as long as it fits my needs it's good. I've had instances where my bag was too small to suit me and had to leave out stuff.
I'm not a public figure so I don't think people will look at me.
