Roflmao. There's nothing here but Walmart. It would be comical just to watch people's faces when they saw the prices. Would make a great Priceless advert.

Seriously though, H wouldn't stand a chance here. Nearly everyone has a gun being it's a right to carry state. The stock would be depleted faster than you can say lock and load. :laugh:

It seems H is expanding on the east coast, I wonder what their plans are for the west coast? I know BH is renovating but that is going to take at least 2 years and that will be flagship store for the west coast I believe but what about the rest of the west coast? Here in the bay area we have a store in SF but Silicon Valley sure could use a store, there is loads of people with money in silicon valley. We do have one of the most expensive zip codes in the country here as well (Atherton,CA).

I don't think that's quite what's happening here. Given that CT is ground zero for hedge funds I'm shocked it's taken this long for H to place a store there. I think this store might get quite a bit of drool-worthy inventory.

I think H is trying to reach other markets that may not readily reach for H, not whether it is part of the consumers spending budget.
The selling angle is, if one loves it, and obsesses; most likely, they will save for it and buy it. Provided it is deemed worth the money!

Smallest denomination is a H charm for 150 or less and the most realistic gifts for women are/scents and for men are ties/ belt sets/scents ...
Multiply that buy all of middle America(where formulas of success/failures are calculated) OR a China's last count in 2012 @ 1.3 billion peeps.

Mind boggling numbers and staggering to say the least lol

I took a couple photos today of the future Hermes Greenwich location, which show the latest update of construction progress, or rather the window coverings to block the view of the inside construction. ;) The photos were taken on a walk-by with my cell phone, so they're a bit fuzzy.

Any idea when they're opening it? Is it on Greenwich Ave?
