Does anyone know the price of a 31cm Bolide in Taipei ? and is the sales tax still 5% ? I'll be traveling there in August and wondering if I should get my bag in the US vs. Taiwan.

TIA.

It was around TW$220K last year, so I guess it is probabily TW$230K ish now. sales tax is still 5%. Get it in US if you can, cheaper and more stock!

Sayuri - You've the answer to all my questions !! :ty::ty::ty::urock::urock:

The only problem is that US still has very few stock in addition of the no transfer policy. The Bolides that my local store keeps getting are the boring Gold and Black colors. The SM is conservative and wouldn't risk ordering bright color bags. I thought I've better luck finding Bolides in sharp colors in Asia since it is a under the radar type of bag. I guess nothing from Hermes is under the radar anymore !!

Yeah, I heard about the no transfer policy implemented in US this year!! You are right about Asians store probably has more bright colour bags, but every since last year, every popular bag (lindy, jypsiere, bolide, toolbox, constance) sells out super fast, and most of the time, they don't put them out on display case, they only put it out when non-of their regular clients want it. If you are going pass Japan, then you have a much bigger chance of scoring one! Apart from B/K, they still have plenty of stocks.

I will be in airport for about 3hours transiting to Thailand. Hopefully I will have time to visit all the Hermes store in the airport and score something. If I only have enough time to stop by at one store.. which store would you recommend? Thank you! :smile1:

Chances of scoring a B or K as a walk in are close to zero. Most things that they do have are reserved for local regular customers. The only possible way is to spend a VERY, VERY large sum of money buying lots of other things. Even then, you would probably be put on the wait list and maybe get something within a couple of weeks.

Have any of pfers sighted any twilly, cadena or olgas in Taipei? Which store is the most promising? I will b there the week after and I hope I can dress my baby up!
Hi Lushtear
I saw a cadena in gold at Sogo Hermes. It has a lotus like pattern on it. This was at least two weeks ago. But it's been there since february so prob still there. In my opinion none of the stores are very well stocked, though the worst may be bellavitta - perhaps refer to some of the past posts as they are relatively recent.

Hope you have better luck than me.
