hi baileylab.. bellavita H (the new flagship) is near 101. sayuri just did an inventory update on it on the Inventory thread. sounds like it is overflowing with croc SLGs right now!

there is a long long bridge (under cover )that links 101 to bellavita, bit it is abt 3 small blocks away. The route is 101-> (crossed over the rd to)New York New York-> (next to)Vieshow Cinema->(crossed over the rd) Mitsukoshi A9 ->(next to) A8 ->(cross over the rd) A4->(next to. Bellavita! It os really easy to find it.

And the store is very very well stocked with exotics SLGs, plenty on display and more at the back!

Fell in love with Paperoles shawls when I visited Hermes yesterday but still trying to bring myself to justify the high price for a 'piece of printed cloth' from the words of DH.
I have heard that prices in Taipie is better than in Singapore.
So, will someone please help me and let me know what's the price of a GM Shawl from Hermes Taipei?
Many many thanks for whatever information/opinions you can contribute. :winkiss:

if my memory serves me right, it should be just under NTD 40,000.

but you can always call Hermes Taipei directly to reconfirm.

the pricing in Duty Free shop should be about ~5% due to VAT

Hi Hanyeu's right, I can't remember the exact pricing, but it was definately under NTD40000. From my memory, Singapore and Taiwan have similar prices, the differences are very little and depending on the exchange rate, sometimesTaiwan can be more expensive.

However as a foreigner, you get 5% VAT back.

Just to give you an idea how much things cost here, a twilly is NT$5000, 90cm scarf was NT$14300 (the last time I bought one was in Jan), and Kelly Wallet in chevre was NT$99700

Hanyeu, sayuri_hermes - thank you for your comments. I shall do some 'homework' from your information and see how it goes. If the savings is only marginal, I would always prefer to buy from home boutiques.

This will be my first scarf purchase and there's still a lot to be learnt from all the various sizes, materials, prints, etc. I would say my knowlege is still at zero-level. One thing is, I am still deciding if a GM Cashmere shawl or a 140cm silk scarf should be my first purchase. What do you think? I would like one that is easy to maintain (without being easilly snagged, pilled, etc). I read somewhere that silk is easier to maintain than the cashmere. Yes?

Does anybody know if there is an Hermes boutique at TaoYuan International Airport? If so, do they carry a lot of Clic-Clac bracelets? Will be heading there in Dec and hoping to pick up a Clic-Clac :)

Thanks!
