Hey guys sorry if this is a dumb question and I did ask in the melb forum also but..
Have u guys ever purchased an amount over 1000 and tried to claim the tax refund but didn't have ur complete full name as on the receipt? As some stores say the middle name doesn't show..will this affect me claiming as it doesn't show full name?

As far as I know, a full name, as shown on your passport, and a full address/email address, has to be shown on receipt above $1000. Anything missing information will give them an excuse to refuse your refund.
My experiences with the TRS people in Syd, is, that they are usually very rude and careless so make sure you allow plenty of time in the airport.

Usually the case, Yes. But You can still get offered b/k without any purchase in my experience. Make sure you are on waitlisted tho. Dealing with same SA also help.
