Does anyone have any experience with HSS special order in Sydney? I placed my order back in September 2015. My baby still hasn't arrived... How long is the usual wait for a special order?
In comparison, I've made special orders in Europe and they arrive within 3-6 months.

I just done the form today and SM told me normally it's 8-12months，but sometimes it will be up to 2years ，just depends on the leather you choose and the colour

I have had one come in in 5 months and another in 2.5 years, no rhyme or reason. Still waiting on another and it's been 1.5 years. Unless the color combo is so special that you have to have it, sometimes I am happier with podium orders. I never do external bi colour combos anyway, just a different colored lining.
They also have raisin,blue sapphire, blue hydra,etoup and another few colours, for this particular leather ,don't have much choice
Thank you! I love the leather a lot, however the choice is limited. Your combo will be very nice. I think they haven't finished so yet, I think you can call the store if you have any concern.
I am going to do a so very soon, may I ask can I choose croc?
I'm not sure about this cause I'm feel comfortable about croc ,probably they know it so they didn't mention about croc ,but when SM show me the SO "magical box" I saw croc colour sample inside ! Hope that will help you!
So i went into Sydney store today. Because i wanted to buy a couple things and hopefully get on the waitlist for a k28/32 (as i decided not to go the reseller route) needless to say she was able to sell me an extra item; scarf in addition to what i went to buy. However with having spent what i did i still wasnt able to have any luck of putting my name down for a k bag.
She entered into the system a Jige clutch trench for me . And said i can call to check if wait list is open for kelly bag but i will have to go in to order it. She gave me her name and the store number.
Is any of this a good sign of eventually getting a kelly bag? I love Hermes and i would continue to buy their products even after i add a kelly to my collection i just dont want to keep eating into what i set aside to buy the kelly bag.
Any advice will help as i dont know whats acceptable in this situation for calling up asking about the waitlist or whether i need to be spending even more to have them consider me .

I think currently only b30 is opened for waitlist. K32 was opened last year together with b35 but closed after few months. When my friend went to drop down her name on the b30 list few weeks ago the SA asked if she prefers a k or a b, and my friend told her she actually like K better because of the shoulder strap, and the SA told her kelly waitlist will be opened soon after the closing of b30 (which the SA believes it's at almost full capacity). So stay tuned and I think the list will be open soon [emoji4]good luck!
Thankyou! Im just worried i come off pushy and i dont want to bother them too much but i dont know what would be "too much" lol. Happy to go back to buy something little since i felt i spent a very sufficient amount today to take a big chunk out of my savings (i usually dont buy so many bits and pieces in one go but i was hoping to build a relationship with the SA by doing so) just hate to go the far distance about 1.5h each way only to find out list is still closed but im concerned she may not really want to tell me over the phone or she will forget me . Argh the struggle is real but seeing now i spent what would of been my excess for going to the resale market for brand New im too far gone now to not persist in actually finally getting a H bag from the store. So far both my bags have been 1 preloved & 1 new from resale market and the feeling is not the same at least im sure it isn't.
Also birkin waitlist is closed now apparently. So she said to me i did not ask about a B though she just mentioned it too me maybe to reassure me that she was being honest about K list being closed.
You can always call to ask, I don't think they will withhold the wait list info to only known customers.. I always call to make sure the things I want is available in store before I go.. also I'm sure some lovely ladies on this forum would mention it if the list is opened again [emoji4] usually the list will open for 2-3 months so don't worry you will definitely get your chance to put the name down.
