Am i the only one who finds it hard to purchase non-Hermes bags? Once i got hooked on Hermes leather goods, i find all other mainstream brands hard to stomach...
I was a Chanel girl until I bought my first Hermes in 2011. I still bought both up until last year when I started selling my Chanel collection - on to my last one now (Chanel Boy in New Medium 2016) which I'm still torn about (whether to sell or not), because it is super practical. You're right. I'm hooked.
Yes, I tend to look at H products first when I need something, but when I was looking for a really formal evening bag I picked a Dior Diorama WOC with micro cannage (has yet to arrive) after looking at the H options and other brands. The design is more futuristic and young IMO and I won't be using it often, so the quality doesn't need to be the most durable (read about the metallic colour peeling beforehand...). I see H as the brand with the highest quality and classic designs, but for certain occasions form wins over function for me. But I do have the feeling I'm stepping a level down when I'm not purchasing H in leather goods...

I searched for a while now and finally found this Thread. Makes me so happy because I will get crazy if I don’t talk to someone.
This summer my hubby and I saw a amazing Kelly 28 in a red shade. I felt in love. Sadly my hubby didn’t like that the bag was preloved and talked me out of it - he said I should get a new one from the boutique. So we visited the boutique the same day, in Nike’s and totally casual.
The Lady was nice and I picked a bag just in 5 minutes. I was in such a happy state of mind that I can barely remember what I chose.
Now I wait. And my mind is going crazy. Could it happen that they will never call me because I was so clueless about everything? How long do I have to wait? What colors did I pick? What leather? Should I call?
I am so sad that I did no proper research and my hubby is like “relax, if is just a bag” ...

What do you mean that you "picked" a bag but you have to wait? You placed a special order? We can help if we understand what kind of order you placed at the boutique.

A few weeks back I've officially decided that I want to have a brand new B or K...but mostly B. I am in no rush to get one, but I want to start now with saving up my money and selling off bags I don't use. I just sold off 3 bags and will be selling 2 more soon. So excited!!
I hope I could get a brand new B from the store. I've bought a few items from the boutique but I'm not as frequent a customer as most others so I hope my SA is able to let me get one.
I really want a 25, 30, or 35 in togo, clemence, or swift. In terms of colors I would like any black, dark blues, beiges, neutrals, or greys.
