Maybe I'm getting crazy from all the waiting, it's also late night here and I need some sleep ;) , but am I the only one thinking of what SA/SM think of us as customers in terms of waiting for a B/K or maybe more than one?

H is such a game sometimes and even though they are super sweet and tell you that they will call you AS SOON AS THE BAG COMES IN you just never know. They might just think you are crazy, having enough bags already and shouldn't order any more, and could wait forever for it :D Or, they really try hard to find/order what you wish for because you're a good/nice customer, we just can't notice what happens behind the scenes...

I know they are just normal sales persons after all (they are there to sell) but H could be a mystery... Sometimes you get what you ask for very fast, and sometimes it never shows up. It could even be out of SAs control!

I'm a person who don't get these games anyway... But: We should have faith in both H gods and our SAs, right? And trust that we finally will receive what they did let us order :)

Ok, enough crazy talking :) Keep on waiting.

Have to wait AND save for my dream bag!

Currently in the process of saving up for a Birkin 30 when I travel to Paris in September 2016. Only started saving in September and by next pay, I should be halfway. So far, so good.

I'm pulling together the money from my monthly commission payments from work and selling unwanted items on eBay. I prefer not to touch my base salary for such an extravagant purchase.

Ditto - I'm saving up too, it's good to have to wait and save, makes it all more worth the while.

Good for you - it will feel so satisfying once you finally have your B/K fund.

Although listening to others - we'll want another one after that !! haha

I have been looking for a B in etoupe 35 but i have had no luck yet! I have never been offered that they will look for one for me either, they say they can't do this.

Hopefully will come across one soon! Is there a limit to how many B's they sell you in a year?

I hope you find your B. A 35 should be relatively easier to get as so many want the smaller bags. I personally love my 35. And yes, there is a limit for B and K. It's 1 bag per 6 months.

I don't know to how many out there this might apply but I'd like to share how I got my B35 from the store. It shows that one doesn't necessarily have to jump through hoops to get one.

I'm relatively new to Hermes and had been to the store in Beverly Hills where I bought 2 shawls and an alligator CDC, because I wanted them, not looking to rack up points to get a birkin. The SA who helped me was very nice and has been there for a long time, at least that was my impression. One of his regular customers came in while he was helping me and was obviously annoyed that she had to wait. I really was not on a schedule so I told him he could go help her if he wanted to and I'd try on shawls and wait. He said no, no problem, and continued to help me until I was done.
Maybe a month later, really on a whim, I called him at the store and left a voicemail saying that I was interested in a birkin and could he help me. He called me back 2 days later and said, What size and color? I was so shocked but also very pleased. I told him I wanted a blue 35. He called me back in 10 min to say he had 2 different blues, he could only hold one. It turned out that he was very smart. There was only one of the color he held, which I wasn't crazy about, but there were 2 in colvert, which I loved. He figured even if one was sold he'd still have one to show me. And it all worked out and that's how I went home with a big orange box.

Thank you for sharing this!! Would you mind sharing how much it cost? Thanks and enjoy in great health!

Thanks for sharing! Sometimes they can help you very quick and sometimes the wait is looong... :) My two last bags came very quickly after I told my SAs what I wanted, the one I ordered now seems to take forever... :S

I've sold a few items and I'm ready to take the plunge and get a birkin. I went the Hermes the other day and put myself on the wait list. The SA was really sweet and said she would look for what I wanted and asked me to be patient and she'll find me something. I have no prior relationship with that store so I hope she does think of me when the bag comes in!

Oh!! Good luck!!! The wait these days seem to be shorter!! I hope you get your dream bag soon!

I believe you can only buy 1 every 6 months, but I am sure that;s factored into how hard it is to get one in general.

If you don't mind my asking, what is your overall relationship with Hermes and your SA? How many bags have you received in total, and did you start your relationship by purchasing many smaller items?
