Thanks for the welcome Ernskie. I had never been interested in Hermes until recently. After I posted I went to the Hermes store and saw the Kelly in the 35 iwhite togo that some woman had just purchased. It was so gorgeous that I wanted it. I guess now I am going to have to save save, which is hard since I love to shop.

Yeah, some members here received it as part of the invitation. When H Toronto relocated their store across the street, they had a grand opening and sent out these hardhats.
I've never seen the H baseball promo item.

Howdy folks. It's been a while since I posted here (been too busy drooling at the food pics in the joie de vivre thread) but wanted to say hello.
Ernskie and KB - Sounds like we might have some reveals from your upcoming visits to H.
geekbabe - It's so exciting to see you prep for your first H bag. I love the Marwari. Unfortunately at 5'5" I'm too short so I can't wear it very well but at 5'8" it should look great on you.
pretty - I think if my dream Birkin would be Raisin or Indigo with a Rouge H lining and GHW.
Our local H should be opening next month so I'm a bit excited and nervous at the same time. Right now it's a little harder to spend the $$$. With an H less than 15 minutes away, I can seriously see my bank account dwindling FAST. But at last I might be able to compare colors and make a final decision on a color for an Evelyne GM3. I've narrowed it down to Prune or Raisin but just can't make up my mind. If all goes well, one of them will be mine around X-mas.

where i'm going is very expensive when it comes to H. i'm still not sure if i feel happy or sad about it...
the good news is i've got the funds, the bad news is the bag i am looking for doesn't seem to be available anywhere at the moment

Sg H is not cheap either, so i guess u need a trip to Paris soon to stock up the Kelly wallets, 25cm box Kelly etc
oh oh oh.... it's not too far from home and u r definitely right about PRICEY H..... my coll always get me to check out stuff in sg and he will fly back to buy the branded. too ex there.
yes which is why i'm pretty happy that the prices will discourage me from impulse buys
also i'll be flying quite often the next 3 mths so i can buy the stuff i want in our airport store

jst help me friend gt a JLC reverso from Cortina, he said like 20% cheaper. Tiffany more than 10% cheaper. So not worth buying in Shanghai.
You definitely need a GM shawl and jumping boots.. .it's so cold in SH during Winter, my very good friend is there now...

to find out, should our bad weather start after Thanksgiving,
can I use the bus ticket after that date? Then, I have
to make sure I have enough available funds to enjoy
a trip to Hermes -- then if all those planets are aligned,
I'll have something to reveal.
It's just a long process.
