Congratulations! Can you share what your in store experience was like? What was the atmosphere like in the Vegas hotels?
I have an appointment at the Bellagio store soon but I might cancel my trip due to virus concerns.
Was just there. Very few of the tourists seem to be taking the virus seriously. H does a good job but in the hotels and casinos it’s like the pandemic doesn’t even exist. Hardly any non-workers were wearing masks and I hear the number of local cases is now spiking again. I even had a few random strangers tell me to ditch the mask since the virus “is all a hoax” :(

Wynn was super clean. Everything felt safe and I never was really concerned about anything. Pre-covid and now its just less crowded then before. But still have same atmosphere - espeically the casino floor. Service was top notch. And I got to enjoy everything from Casino Floor to Poolside Cabana and used some of my winnings to splurge on Hermes.

As for Hermes - they are only doing appointment only for now. Everything felt super safe and aside from me being there for a total of 1-1.5 hours there was I believe 1 or 2 other quick appointments. I got offered the bag which I didn't doubt I would since my SA has been hoping to get me something nice. I use the Wynn Las Vegas Hermes store as my home store vs my old one being in Palo Alto (My old SA was promoted to another district).

Overall Vegas was fun and I don't think you should worry unless you stay with many people in a household who are prone with a weak immune system.

It’s disappointing to hear that people believe this is a hoax, but I’m glad you weren’t a part of the problem! We have switched our trip to a weekday since it will be less people. I think there will be more time with my SA too.

We thought about staying at the Wynn too. I like that they are thermal scanning everyone. That $215 JSX deal is tempting. Congrats on the bag offer! Hope I’ll be lucky next week in the casino. I will report on my store experience.

Hermes NY is open for appointments! They're closed on Sunday and Monday, otherwise SAs are in twice per week, servicing appointments from 11-4.

How do you schedule an appointment? I tried calling and couldn’t get through after waiting on hold for 10min. Do you need to have an existing SA relationship?

My SA and I have been texting regularly throughout the lockdown period, so she let me know when the store reopened for appointments, and sent scheduled days and the available time slots.

Are you a new customer? Unfortunately I'm not too sure what the appointment policy is for new clients, but make sure to call when the store is actually staffed. I know NY Meatpacking is closed on Sundays and Mondays now, and hours are only from 11-4 Tuesday through Saturday, but can't speak confidently on other stores' modified schedules.

Beverly Hills is open by appointment only. I went in a few weeks ago and it was so nice. Only 3 SAs seeing customers at a time so plenty of space. They are also open for curbside pick-up as well.

Short Hills store is by appointment only. There were no customers there when I stopped by to inquire on a Wednesday (LV, Gucci and I think Chanel were allowing walk ins) and SA had to unlock door to speak to me. She kept both hands on the doors; it looked like she was trying to make sure I would not sneak in! Asked a couple questions I had and she was not very friendly. I was wearing a mask.

Honestly I saw maybe 10 people total walking through the mall in the hour I was there. 4 people in LV. 1 in Chanel. 0 in Gucci.

It seems I will be forced to fly to Las Vegas the first week of October for a work meeting that I have been unsuccessfully trying to get switched to a Zoom meeting. While I plan on continuing that campaign, if I do end up in Vegas I will likely have a day mostly free. I do not want to be around crowds but I would love to hit up Alexander McQueen and Hermes in Wynn if I can do so safely. I see “appointment only” at H ... I am not a high roller ... I usually end up with a bracelet or some twillies or things like that in store (only one bag bought in store was a GP in San Fran). Does anyone know what the appointment only experience is like in Vegas?
