Hermès Stores Status Thread

I do believe that some of the looting was driven by professional thieves and others trying to make $ off of a terrible tragedy. EBay, TheRealReal, Rebag, fashionphile and other reseller sites may be recipients of stolen merchandise in the near future.

I was speaking to a client in DC who said looters were targeting cigarettes and prescription painkillers, at the CVS stores, things that could easily be resold.

Chicago opened today by appointment only
New York next week - with curbside or phone - no one can come in the stores next week -
but things are beginning to open - wondering about inventory ??

My SA said not to bother to come in right now since the inventory isnt great. Though when I went to pick up my CLF a few weeks ago they had a few Kelly's and Roulis. By appointment only, 30 min slots, and they are only allowed 5 clients per day. I forgot to ask if they are still doing curbside pickup.

Sounds like whether bags (quota, SO) can be shipped is decided store by store - my SA said my store does not allow it for now. (I am in the US and I know some stores in the US are allowing it based on other tPFers’ posts.) The stores are probably playing it by the ear and deciding for themselves, and I wouldn’t be surprised if exceptions can be made for established clients with valid reasons (like they always do).

Also per my SA there are lots of hungry customers and it’s been very busy (phone and pick up orders). I think that while some people may be re-evaluating their shopping habits, there definitely are plenty people wanting to shop! That’s good news for H and the economy and I hope that things recover smoothly from now on.

My SA from NY Meatpacking told me today, June 13, is their first day back in the store for curbside pick-up only (anything but bags is available for pick-up) under a limited schedule. They're not closed on Sunday and Monday, with SAs working two days a week.

In-store appointments will begin on June 22 at the earliest, assuming virus cases remain stable, otherwise it will be pushed back to July.

Oops. HUGE typo. They're **NOW** closed on Sunday and Monday.

Las Vegas stores are open most days of the week, 11am-7pm by appointment only. At your appointment time, your SA will greet you at the door and let you inside where you will have to put on a mask and latex gloves. Each SA has their own assigned section of the store where they will station the client and then bring merchandise from around the store to the client to inspect. Customers are permitted in the store for the first half of every hour and then they use the second half of each hour to clean (though we were not rushed out strictly according to the clock.) It was a very strange experience, although rewarding, but I did feel rushed in some decisions and I didn’t get to fully look through all options due to time limitations. My SA seemed to think that this structure would be in place for the foreseeable future although no timeline has been discussed with the sales associates.

Got this baby over weekend at Wynn Las Vegas. Very happy! Had appointment for Saturday.
Congratulations! Can you share what your in store experience was like? What was the atmosphere like in the Vegas hotels?
I have an appointment at the Bellagio store soon but I might cancel my trip due to virus concerns.
