H is closed again. Until the riots are done. I was getting worried for the SA’s. Stay safe everyone.

I texted my SA. They are closed at least through tomorrow. Thank God it was Sunday and the store is not open on Sundays.Just an update. I don’t believe anyone was able to get into the store. As you can see the glass shattered but they already put up blockage. Another somewhat high end mall on the other hand with Burberry, Nordstrom, Apple store, got completely looted and damaged. It’s just utterly painful sitting at work at a hospital dealing with one crisis and hearing siren outside constantly about another.![]()
All of oak street looks a mess. Have to find out from my SA status there.Don’t know if you are in Chicago but the Hermès didn’t do well here either ....
But the staff is safe
It’s all so sad
I hope that they are closed for at least...a long while before returning... for their safety.I texted my SA. They are closed at least through tomorrow. Thank God it was Sunday and the store is not open on Sundays.
Tear gas was fired at the looters when they were trying to storm the Microsoft building there. And so they fled afterwards.
Those looters were a different group from the peaceful protestors that were in the park earlier. The peaceful protestors, those who were interviewed on Main St during their retreat, were just as shocked as all of us.
I was close to that area around mid afternoon and my friend showed me his phone with people taking pictures across the street. It is so heart wrenching to see this and I wonder if Prada or Tory Burch were spared. Apparently someone was encouraging the looters to head to Bravern where the 'money' is. Omega store was emptied as well.My home store is being damaged and looted right now. I’m heartbroken.
Hopefully omega was smart enough to put their stuff inside the vault. Prada was spared because they already put the plywood up. Tory Burch probably got looted because they moved from the bravern to Bellevue square and Bellevue square just got completely trashed.I was close to that area around mid afternoon and my friend showed me his phone with people taking pictures across the street. I think their management will do the right thing. I really look forward to shopping there again when they are ready.I hope that they are closed for at least...a long while before returning... for their safety.
Me too! I can’t wait to see everyone at the stores...honestly both the team and other customers...like strangers. Not patients and not work colleagues. Now I realized the joy of meeting with strangers.I think their management will do the right thing. I really look forward to shopping there again when they are ready.

As in the room where they keep the safety deposit box? Yeeeesh.. may have to rethink my plan of keeping everything at the bank. SmhI don’t know if the vault would do any good. They took the whole safe out of Wells Fargo here.

I agree with you. I do enjoy meeting other customers at H. Looking forward to see the sa's and customers too.Me too! Yup, and whatever they couldn’t get to, they burn down. Several retailers in the area are beyond repairable. Good thing all the luxury stores including H is an hr away from the city so they’re safe.
