I just wanted to add that when its noted that collections don't feel very spring or summery people often forget that these SS pieces usually hit the shop floor in February or earlier.
Also having looked at many of the shows for SS24 I felt the Hermes show was one of the lighter ones in terms of feel and fabric.
just watch the Bottega and Balenciaga shows as an example.
Many shows were heavy (no pun intended) on knitwear and outerwear.

Yes and no, I wouldn't be wearing a bra-top in my neck of the woods in Feb :D.

I think the general consensus was, international fashion has been trans-seasonal for many years. February in Australia is Autumn, and it's Oct tomorrow, and the UK is still basking in 24C sunshine.

And then this one that looks like the Bolide Web 1923 but with different proportions. Like the handle became a bit short or the body of the bag became a bit tall

Probably a big bag (over 45cm which is the travel size). I have a 45 (with front pockets) it's not that shape for sure

OR

Maybe it has a false bottom, like the vintage hidden jewellery case (mid-20C) stashed stealthily at the bottom of a 35 Kelly

probably a big bag because the strap loops over the handle? I don't get it :shrugs:

Because when a bag gets to wide it gets more difficult to carry (Gucci's luggage dome-shape bags to the same thing).

Could also be small, like the Bolide Secret (apart from the zip of the Secret) it has the same proportions.

I don't know how they are attaching the strap to a Bolide like that. Seems only on one side :shrugs: . The 1923 famously has no strap.
