I did a double-take too when I saw it pop up, as it hasn’t been mentioned since that original showing on page 8 (I had to do a search to check it was this season). It should arrive on Tuesday, and whilst this c/w may not work, the design certainly appeals. Hopefully other c/w will trickle in…unless it is this season’s unicorn!

Where do you get sneak peaks of FW? There are a couple shawls I have my eye on now but also a design I’m hoping comes out in a color that doesn’t make me look dead (I do love orange but it does not love me).

In an effort to spend more time enjoying what I have and less time shopping, haven't been around the forums much in 2024. I did, however, end up picking Precious Paradise in 01, the kaki/rouge/rose colorway. Even months later I couldn't get it out of my head--I love green and pink together, and it's an entirely unique cw in my collection. It's not the easiest to pair with tops, but ivory's always a nice backdrop.

I don't know if anyone is still shopping for SS24, but I thought I would share some final purchases that I was able to pick up recently. I hope these are helpful. Now I must freeze my credit cards, sit on my hands and wait for the next season!
I missed out on the Della Cavalleria double face the first time around in 2020 or so, but I adore the design and finally -- finally!-- fell in love with cw 08 and was able to get it from Madison last week:

I also don't think this particular cw of Flamingo Party GT has been shown. I love the fact that this is an end-to-end floral and I adore the grey hem on this cw!

And the very real perils of in boutique shopping manifested in this CSGM which was not on my radar at all-- I mean at all-- until I tried it on and it was instant love. It has a very quiet vibe, but the colors are lovely and the menthol hem is a delight! Chevaux Deschaines (06)

Sometimes there is a happy balance of cool and warm colours which make the scarf versatile. I succumbed to Mystere au 24 Marine/vert/Bleu Ciel (03) which is predominantly cool but has some beige which softens it & is away from my face. The green, of course, is marvellous!

The Bois de Rose of the Haute Parure might be rather too warm & brown based for me, but I may feel differently when I get it.

The bois de rose is more of a soft peach colour, unlike the pink/brown shade I have in other scarves. I shall not be keeping it, mainly due to the white sections, so don’t want to do too many twisty folds but it gives a good idea of scale, etc.
