HI,
just like the old plisse designs the pleats will flatten when come into contact with perspiration or rain/water. BUT you can send it back to Paris to re-pleat and wait time is about two months. HTH.

In slightly related news, yesterday I asked one of the store managers about the Fantaisie d'Etriers CSGM. He looked it up and said no boutiques in the US had any, and our boutique had 0 coming, lol. But now he’s interested in what’s going on with it so he said he’s going to look into it. Will share if any real intel comes of it.

I've also only seen the silks pleated before. I have a pleated Petit-H silk bracelet that has loosened over time and I plan to have it sent in. All pleating will loosen with time/use/moisture, but I expect that, it can always be redone. If I like it enough over several uses, I might have another CSGM that was gifted to me pleated later on.

My SA told me that Fantaisie d’Etriers CSGM and Haute Parure are the two ‘unicorn’ scarves of this season where boutiques have not been able to order them at podium so they may receive shipment of them in some cws, or they may not.

Pretty when tied. Albeit it looks almost identical to Fantasie d'Etriers, Harnais de Cour or even Silla de Gaucho in some ties - has the same vibe. The color families have a lot to do with this, but frankly, H should be ashamed at their lack of creativity.

Another design that looks flat and soulless like something generated by AI, and the colorways are dull.
So far from the refinement and artistry I associate with Hermès, that piece and many others this season.

My artist friend has also complained that the scarves we have seen in store recently are starting to look AI designed.
