Following up on the higher pre-spend topic, is the amount generally much higher for a colour like craie or is it impossible to get such a colour for 1st qb?
Also how would we know if an item or a colour need higher prespend (ie more than 1:1)? Will the SA prompt us?

Yes, your SA will let you know if he/she can apply for the colour you wanted based on your profile. It is not just prespend, it also depends on what categories you have purchased in.
Different SAs have different requirements for it so it is best you discuss with your SA.

i have heard of different answers to the prespend amount question. Some SA will require 1:3 for popular colors, I saw someone posted on ig getting gold sellier birkin at just 1:1, and as for my case, my SA told me it will be slightly higher than 1:1.
it’s best to have a chat with your SA. You’ll never know the exact answer at Hermes.

Hello. Thank you for your reply and sharing this very useful tip. I never knew such a search was possible on IG.

No worries. You are certainly not confusing me further. I will have a chat with my SA and understand what exactly can be done. Worst case I guess I'll have to pick another color since green and blue seems challenging.

Hello! Could I please check if there’s a way I can check the prices of fine jewellery online or is the only way to ask a SA when I visit the store? I don’t really want to bother a SA to check the prices of different pieces if I’m only going to purchase 1 or 2..

In the US site, go to the top left 3 lines, select Jewelry (gold or silver). It shows prices for items available. Not sure is your local online site is the same. Link below of US site for reference

there is an anecdote here some one got a k20 as 1st qb but i read abit of her posts which mentioned that she is actually a long time client at H but only recently asked for a qb.

ETA: k20 as 1st qb would be real tough

I did the same too. I noticed the SGD prices are usually x1.4-ish of the USD. I often come across nice collection from EU website (price usually x1.8-ish). And also UK website (price usually x2-ish). Ooops I've been doing too much "research" hahaha :blush:

Hahaha when I was looking through the selection for watch customization previously, I jokingly said to my SA to give 20 instead of 25. She looked at me :whut: and she was in that "the woman is too stunned to speak" kinda situation. Hahaha so I quickly threw some jokes & laugh it off, brush it off... hahaha so yeah, I take it as a no, even for my 2nd qb :no:

I will stick to my usual qb request: my SA knows my style the best, I won't make her life difficult, I will let her choose whatever she wanna give me. It turned out well (for my k25 n c18 so far) :hbeat: that's just me tho... :P
