Hello ladies ! Not sure if this has been mentioned before. Based on your experience may I know if it is hard to get a 24/24 mini or mini Evelyn by walking in ? I’m new to Hermes and do not have a SA

It’s hard to say. Now, everything is oos. They used to be able to show you a tray of twillys and calvis . Now only one or two. As for bags, they usually say oos first. Sometimes after u shop around the entire shop, SA will suddenly say ‘may have’ something behind…then go off for awhile and come ask if u interesting certain bag. So it really depends on your luck that day

Hi all, I am new to H and have never stepped in to a H store, and no SA contact, obviously. I have always wanted the Lindy 26 in greyish Etoupe GHW (understand it's super hard to get) but recently the Picotin 22 in the same specs is slowly getting into my head. I'd like to know if it is possible to walk in for this? Or put my name on the waitlist?

Is it considered disrespectful if I walk in carrying a C bag?

If I ever get a call from H on a Picotin 22, do you think it's ok for me to head down and take a look at the colour before deciding? Reason being, I notice that some Etoupe are a bit greenish, which is not a colour I fancy.

Hi there! I think P22 is easier since L26 is more popular. But this is the sense I got from last year when I started. I feel that nowadays (especially in 2022), it‘s very difficult to get any bag for ur 1st H item (especially the classic etoupe/gold color).

But if you get call for the P22 etoupe as per your request, rejecting it might be tricky. I’m not sure if she wants to give u another call since the SA has reserved a highly popular bag for u. If u intent to continue ur journey, rejecting any offer from ur SA might not be the best move, especially if u just started. I would even think twice abt it.

Carrying any other brand is definitely OK. But after u get ur 1st H bag, i think it’s a nice gesture to wear it when u visit ur SA.

I was wondering if it’s common for brand new garden partys to have some pilling or fluff or loose thread on the toile/interior? Hmmm… i think mini E is almost impossible to get now by walk-in. Maybe still possible for 24/24 mini bcos it’s way more expensive & less demand than mini E.

I feel that for H, the cheaper items are more difficult to get (e.g. calvi duo, pegase, mini E). It’s their way to maintain exclusivity i guess…?

If i may add based on my experience, that “short notice” to grab ur item is really true! Few mths back, i was asking my SA for few RTWs. When my SA shared the new items arrived, i couldnt go that week bcos of covid & i postponed abt a week. Abt 2 days b4 my appt, my SA shared the items alrdy OOS. I went ahead to visit anyway & got myself another equally gorgeous RTW hehehe luck plays a part too!

I think the SA cant reserve more than 2/3 days (not sure abt this)… so u might need to fly in immediately or u’ll end up “sacrificing“ ur pre-spend on whatever item available during ur visit.

Not necessarily. SA says no bags. I went shopping for men’s items. After confirming getting men’s item, I query abt bags again. SA start scrolling thru hp then suddenly hv 2 mini Evelyn…see what I mean…it depends only what they wana released to you.

however I didnt take the bag immediately. I call back to ask abt the bag a wk later and waited another wk more before I had time to go back n get it. So the bags were actually sitting in the store for at least half a month.

H store probably had some bags but definitely lower in stock of everything. There’re definitely a lot more flippers now who buy everything to sell at resellers. U can see so many brand new items at resellers.

Yup. That’s what i meant. My interpretation of “walk-in” is no pre-spend & mini E (or other popular bag) is ur 1st item.

I think we all know when SA said OOS or put on waitlist nowadays, they may mean not enuf spending or get other non-popular item 1st hahaha

Hello everyone! I’ve bought small items here and there from H stores sporadically and recently decided to “officially” start a H journey. I have a bit more purchase history with Liat so I popped in to pick up something small and get acquainted with an SA.

Things went reasonably well on the 1st visit (I think); I left with her work number and was also notified to come back for a previously unavailable item. 2 visits in, I’m very keen to continue with her but she didn’t respond to texts on store inventory/ stock for a few days. Read some posts here that it may be easier to ask for an appmt instead. I have since done so but still haven’t heard back so I’m feeling quite lost and confused as to how I should proceed.

Would greatly appreciate any advice! (e.g. should I walk-in to Liat and find another SA, change stores?) thank you in advance~

my bad i misread your question. for myself, i spend mostly on shoes, then silks and SLGs (Calvi duo). Not really into fashion jewelry though it is a popular area too. RTW - yet to find anything i like.

could your SA be on leave? My SA also give me work phone and when not at work, i dont think she checks her phone.... that said, i would give it like maybe 3 days, then give another text to check if she got your earlier message?

Thanks for replying! Yea I did wait it out for a few days between texts just curious, do most SAs respond within a few days? Or is it normal to not hear back at all

Maybe your SA is clearing leave? You can ask if your SA is working today from the doorman/security guard.

For me whenever I get a quota bag I will get a Pegasus charm. I assume every quota bag? Depends on your SA too.

not verified with SA, but this is the feeling I get as well ie. only with QB, you can ask for a Rodeo/Pegasus. I was offered a Rodeo for the first QB and then a Pegasus for 2nd QB. Hope this helps.
