- Tried walk-in to MBS was told q is estimate 2.5 hrs, if want to make app but dun have SA contact, pls call cust service hotline

- Actually made appt at Liat with SA the week before, so continue to Liat, sent K28 (preloved 1997 bag bought last year frm reseller) for bag spa. Chatted with SA, planning to get a bag since K28 will be sent away for 6-8 months.

- all the available bags are those on the shelve, minus those "for display only"

- many customers came in the span of 2 hours i was there, everyone was asking for bag, and specifically mini bag they were told the same thing abt those bags on shelves

- i requested to see H Trim bag on the shelve, i was given disposable gloves to handle/try on the bag

- no twilly, no oran

- in regards to replying msg, yes sometimes it takes SA days to response so mostly I msg SA to book appt only and leave the rest to chat when visiting store.

Hello my fellow SG H lovers, I recently got my first kelly in togo direct from the local boutique but after I got home, I noticed some fine cracks on the leather. I have sent the same pics to my SA but she said can’t really tell from the pics so I’ll be meeting her next wk with the bag.

I would like to ask if anyone else had the same issue with a brand new bag in Togo? Would appreciate if someone can chime in how would hermes handle this if it’s deemed “defective”? TIA!

Hi,
@hermesholic I’m having the same concerns on my new bag. Did you ever get an answer from Hermes? Thanks

Does anyone know if it’s easy to walk into the boutique and get a roulis 18?
I don't think it's possible, I have never seen it on display. Was offered mini coulis once but didn't take it since somehow it didn't suit my petite frame due to the height of the bag perhaps, c18 suits me better. However, the offer was with some purchase history.

I don't have this issue.

When I was picking up my K28, I asked my SA what happens if I find defects after I reached home, her answer was, send it back and they will repair the defect. H will not replace with a new bag.
But I also heard (from a friend) of a customer who found a repair mark due to a cut on the sangle of her new bag, she send it back and H took it back and replace it with a new bag of a different combo. *Story not verified*.

I heard rumors that at mbs, first QB cannot get birkin. Only Kelly. Can anyone confirm?
I shop at MBS store. This is last year and my first QB is a B30. When the time comes, the SA will ask you for your K or B preference, colour and specs. But while shopping a few times with my SA, I already mentioned that I want a B30 for my first QB but unsure of the colour. Then one day she asked me for my B specs and I gave it to her. 2 weeks later, I got the magic text to come down.

There are many possibilities:
1. Your SA is too busy and didn’t have time to look it up. So, if it comes then he/she try to fight with 20 or 30 SAs to get something for u. SA cannot find, same result.
2. Classic items may be restocked but not sure when. Seasonal items may or may not be restocked. SAs probably only have time to check at 1 point in time. So u might have to keep asking. But if u ask via txt, pls go back to point 1. Best is to make the SA check in front of u but u hv to be there physically at the shop.
3. U will buy anything available at the shop to meet quota. Y check for u.

Not saying SA is bad if he/she doesn’t check for u. But once u r on the waitlist, it could take 3 to 5 or even 9 months and counting (these are the length of time I am waiting personally) before it appears at the shop. There is a tiny chance that it doesnt come at all. Y the SA wanna get scolding unnecessary?
Wow, you answered my question in my mind... LOL, so I met my SA last Dec and put a few items on the waitlist with her, at that time all the item she helped me to put on the list showing "on the way" from her phone. However, till now I get nothing, I tried to text her once or twice in between, she only replied me "nothing came","no stock". At least I knew, it will eventually come now...... LOL

But it also might have a small chance that your items eventually not come. I have had some seasonal items that didn’t came. Nobody at the local stores seems to be able to control this. If anybody knows otherwise, please share.

There has been a few incidents shared on this thread that Taka store customers’ waitlist had totally disappeared/gone last year. however, I did not verify it or have any means or incentive to do so.

So probably customers of Taka store (or rather all stores, in fact) has to periodically check in to make sure their waitlist is still in place. I always do that with my SA.

Do you know why WOC is so hard to get in Singapore? Thanks!
Hi dear. LOL…getting anything from SG’s Hermes stores is tougher these days! I guess WOCs fall under the elusive category coz there’s high demand and low supply globally. Doesn’t help that us Singaporean ladies are ferocious in our spending! Recall reading somewhere that Sg turned around one of the highest sales worldwide! So imagine the demand vs supply situation.

WOCs are also not offered to walk-ins and new customers. Think of it as a reward SLG that SAs offer to their clients

Pros of a WOC
  1. Versatile as a wallet/cross body bag
  2. Easier on on the pocket compared the K/C
  3. CTG looks like a slimmer version of C18
