I
Got my first pair of Orans on Hermes' website and added vibram soles as recommended on a few YT reviews! However, I had 4-5 blisters during my first wear and that put me off from wearing them entirely, so they are just sitting idle in my wardrobe. Just wondering if anyone has faced a similar issue and what did you do to make them more "comfortable"?
I didn’t had any discomfort with my Orans.
The new beauty products are in - complexion balm, face powders and blotting paper. I’m such a H fan but I simply can’t agree with the S$63 price tag for blotting paper.
I got them in store. Didn’t get the paper though. SA mentioned it was partnered with a Japanese beauty company.

Hi everyone, just wanted to ask if it is common for anyone to not get a QB offer even after reaching the pre-spent amount? And if I am looking to start my Hermes journey, is there any outlet in SG you guys will recommend more? Thanks!

Your SA will be the key to everything. The store is just secondary. I suggest you visit each store and find an SA you click with. Everything else will follow. Even if you stick to a store who gets every stock available, if you dont have a good relationship with an SA, you wouldnt go far.

My friends and I are in different stores and all the 3 stores does offer QB. Personally we do not think any store outranks another store as it is all about timing, buy what u like and wait for the QB as there are many ultra high spenders in all stores. Patience is the key for all the typical success stories. Of course there are always exceptions but we are the typical customer who buy what i like and wait for the QB as we are not the ultra high spender group. if there is nothing that you fancy in store, the only way is to keep checking with SA and wait. Else, could consider alternative routes if you piece together the pre-spend + time and exact combo.

Happened to me too. I wore it walking for >40 mins and had blisters. So what I did was to keep wearing them, but short period of time of walking (20-30 mins max). Eventually after 3-4 wears, it softened a lot more and I can wear them for longer periods. I would not wear them whole day of walking though. Whole day with lots of rest time is possible.

I wanted to get a pair of Orans and even trying I already can sense that it will give me blisters. I ended up with the Dune slip-ons and it is really comfortable.

Seems like you have to wear until it is seasoned, with the help of foot glide

Lol….I didn’t mean it this way. I personally do that with my SA. She initiated it actually coz in the beginning of my journey, I have a very very long wishlist.

but seriously….It’s better to just go into the boutique and speak face to face. Anyway the wait list is on SA’s phone. Ask to see it, they have corresponding pictures of the items now. I’m sure if the SA really wanna help, she won’t refuse. Coz there r so many items, I’m sure it’s easy to waitlist for wrong item or colour way. So, an SA who wants to do a proper job will cross check with the customer.

Just find a comfortable seat and don’t get distracted by browsing around the store. All the good stuff are not displayed anyway.
I just said it in jest ok.. all in good fun..That TikTok video is hilarious.

I swear by compeed’s anti blister stick. You might wanna consider it. The moderators might take this down coz it’s not exactly H related.

That's a great idea to check periodically... may I ask how do you check with your SA? I feel mine really reluctant to reply message.
I agreed with what other members are saying. Make an appointment with your SA, turn up at the store and find a chair to sit down. Start going thru your wishlist (it helps if u also jot down the product code) and the SA will check via her phone. Then wait to see if you hear her/him says to any items on the list, wait a moment, I will go and check and leave you to go to the storeroom. Usually/hopefully she will come back with something from your list. All the best inventory are kept behind. So its shopping via on the chair. ;)

Add: Way back in the beginning, at first my SA will still reply me yes/no availability. But then she stopped replying. I also thought my SA is giving me the cold shoulder. Turns out they are really swamped with old and new customers. When they are not serving customers with appointments, they have to serve walk-ins. At times I have like 4-5pm+ appointment. Sometimes I text to say I will be late and her reply back to me is, ok I go eat first. So until that time, imagine she still didnt have her lunch yet. (I know its not an early dinner because that day my SA knock off around 7pm.) So dont think too much about her/him lack of response.

Yeah. Actually just try to make an appointment to go to the store. In fact, if the SA doesn’t have stock that the customer will be remotely interested in, he/ she probably wont even wanna give an appointment.

I also realized that my SA doesn’t like to say “no stock”. So, if she doesn’t reply after a reasonable amount of time, then I just assume she can’t get.

Gal… don’t do it gal. Erica said don’t do it

But in all seriousness, you ladies do this coz your SAs don’t give you anything on your wishlist periodically? Or not fast enough?
