But in all seriousness, you ladies do this coz your SAs don’t give you anything on your wishlist periodically? Or not fast enough?

This is the only way I ever known how to shop at Hermes. My SA shows me her phone every appointment to see what’s outstanding. Yours don’t?

Different SAs have different customer management approach I guess. No right or wrong.

But gal, you must have a healthy shopping budget!! I’m happy to be pacing things, guided by my lovely SA.

Hi ladies! Want to share my happiness from these couple of weeks:
- I received my picnic CDC barenia ghw after waiting for the WWS for about 2 mths. Actually my SA told me they found it after 1 month & then the shipment took another month.
- While waiting, hubby & I got ourselves some bracelets. The CDC circuit gold ghw & so black kelly bracelet.
- What I thought going to be a visit to pick up the picnic CDC, it turned out i also picked up my 1st qb. My lovely SA really love surprises hehe it’s k25 gris meyer ghw. Fell in love immediately

PS: dun mind the kelly pendant there. It’s an old purchase, but putting there for fun for the pic hehe

You are lucky because my SA is not as diligent. She has not texted me back with the things that I like, although she said that she will text me the moment it comes in. She did not ask me to fill out my profile so she does not know my birthday. But she is a nice person and gets me a QB 1:1 so that is good enough for me.

can you share how is Gris Meyer vs Gris Etain? Some commented that the former has a slight greenish tinge. Is that right?

My friends and I are in different stores and all the 3 stores does offer QB. Personally we do not think any store outranks another store as it is all about timing, buy what u like and wait for the QB as there are many ultra high spenders in all stores. Patience is the key for all the typical success stories. Of course there are always exceptions but we are the typical customer who buy what i like and wait for the QB as we are not the ultra high spender group. if there is nothing that you fancy in store, the only way is to keep checking with SA and wait. Else, could consider alternative routes if you piece together the pre-spend + time and exact combo.

I beg to differ. My opinion, based on friends who shop at different stores.. MBS's prespend seems lowest to get QB, but desired color may take a long time. Good option if not picky. Taka waiting time can be quite long due to a big clientele and Taka points but can roll over your prespend to next QB while waiting for first QB. Liat has a lot of OG clientele as well, and seems to have more internal "guidelines" imposed for new clients. OG clients have it a lot easier for QB. I wished I knew about these before I started lol.

your SA is a rare gem ! Mine does not do that. I don’t know what is on my wishlist at all. Sometimes she admits she forgot to add, or remove etc.

Agreed. MBS is the lowest for QB and it seems like they are lenient on SLG to be counted for QB. Taka waiting time is super long, they have a lot of foreign clientele that can drop big bucks so expect to have tough competition for your QB. As for Liat, this is just my thoughts and suspicion, it is our flagship store so if you wish for SO and events, Liat client have a higher chance.

I think it’s too much of a tall order to expect my SA to text. I’m not such a big client that things will be reserved to be offered to me. We only go through the list face to face at the store.

I think it’s best to request her to go through the list at each store visit.

I feel SA prefer customers to buy in stock items. But what’s the point if the stuff bought is just meh and the customer doesn’t care about.

I think the ultimate end game is to get the quota bag. I’m sure we all can live without the things purchased for pre spend. And I am sure there r some items we love to bits and there r some items that’s just so so, we don’t mind to get but can be dropped if there is another item we prefer that comes along. So, the wishlist gets updated all the time.

Yes, i think so too! While i have not seen gris etain irl, from what i see on the internet, it seems that gris meyer does have a tinge of green, though subtle. The green seems to come out more in a low light. Here is the pic w brighter lights & comparing with gris etain pic via google.


Anyway, thank u once again for sharing ur picnic CDC bracelet pics w us previously. Somehow, I’m not sure if it’s the different season collection or whatnot, but they may have “fixed” that loose & turning part of the bracelet. The opening looks smaller but still flexible to open wide enough to slot in. Or maybe my wrist just thicker than normal hahaha oh well…

It was a total surprise and i think my SA really loves that! So I just went to pick up the so black kelly bracelet for my hubby a few days before. We chatted a bit and aligned on the qb size & range of colors. My SA said usually takes 2-4 weeks. And fast forward, my SA then updated me that my picnic CDC arrived & asked me to pick it up. I didnt know abt the qb at all. But voila! while browsing ard, my SA showed me this beauty

While i need to be conscious of the spending etc, but some elements of surprise makes it more exciting hehehe

That's good information! I think Liat Tower is more careful as the office is in the same building and MBS caters to the whale gamblers so the clientele/profile is different.

Although my SA is blur, she has delivered the QBs and non QBs so I will be sticking with her. I did consider setting up another profile in MBS, but has scrapped that thought now.

thanks for the earlier replies! very very helpful! With regards to starting a profile at one of the stores, do you guys have any suggestions as to which category to buy? (eg scarves, wallets, jewelry - a few i like but not sure if they are easy to get) Also, have any of you heard of people who have met the pre-spent but still wasn't offered a QB? Thanks!
