Hi ladies, I’m new to this.. and there’s something I would like to ask, I had already hit the prespend (1.5-1.6) and put in the request for a QB, but I am still asked to buy more things by my SA. Maybe 1-2 times per month. Should I still buy? I do like the things she offered but am just thinking if I should wait until the QB is here or not..?
To confirm, your QB request is in already, right? Do you know if your new spend can be rolled over to the next bag? If can, then I would support the SA if you like the items she recommends. Maybe she needs to hit her own sales or something. After all, your bag fate is in her hands:biggrin:

Did any of you manage to get a mini k as your first qb locally?

what are your recent shopping experiences for scoring a qb at liat vs mbs store? Was the spending 1:1?
I think I have come across this poster who mentioned that the SA mentioned that you need to have gotten many QBs to get a Mini Kelly. someone mentioned 10 quota bags but in my experience it was 8 quota bags.

Actually I think it also depends on the SA and not just the store. Among my friends, MBS was actually higher spend than Takashimaya although in Takashimaya the wait was longer. Also in MBS, classic colours seem to be harder to get but in Takashimaya, they seem to order more classic colours. I also have friends in liat towers, they have all gotten their bags the fastest among all 3 stores as it has the most bag inventory. actually in general, if you are after non sought after combinations - all 3 stores are equal. Just specific to MBS, I heard that new clients who are trying to build will have a way tougher time to get bags (and correspondingly higher spend) given that they are trying to cater to their existing clients who have already hit quota and haven't gotten their bags yet. there are clients who hasnt gotten any BKC last year whom they are still trying to fulfill

For MBS, it’s dependent on SA I guess. I could have gotten my k25 for a seasonal colour within a month after hitting spend but I chose to go for my preferred choices of colours and hardware. Thereafter I was offered a classic colour another month on but I turned it down as it was not of the correct configuration. So it may not take that long.

Yes the request is in already.
I have no idea if the new spend can roll over or not.. and contemplating if I should ask her.

Hi everyone!
Would like to ask for opinion regarding bag conditioning and cleaning .
I’ve got a birkin in swift rose azalee. Another Kelly in rouge box calf .
Does anyone recommend any leather conditioner / cleaner for your bags ? And how often do y’all condition your bags?
I’m especially nervous to use any products on my birkin cox it’s a lighter colour and it’s in swift . Or should I Just send it directly to the Hermes spa for regular cleaning . Any idea how much this service costs, how long they’ll take to clean + how often shld we send for bag spa. Thank you all in advance :)

May I ask if there is anything wrong with these bags? Hermes generally would accept a bag for repair, cleaning of stains, replacing handles etc. Generally I do not think they would take bags just for regular cleaning and conditioning. It would also entail unnecessary cost and time without your items. So far the Hermes craftspeople I have consulted have told me to just leave my bags alone and use and enjoy them. I have not done anything to my Box bags and I too have Swift in Rose Azalea, no issues after about 5 years. It hasn't happened to me but maybe just watch out for dark colour transfer from denim jeans, we do hear about it on this forum. HTH!

I would send to Hermes for spa just to be safe. If it’s just cleaning it won’t take too long. Not sure about the price now but it should be around $200+

Hi TBH there are no major issues with the bags . I’m just used to cleaning and conditioning my other bags fm other brands to keep the leather supple but Hermes bags are too expensive for me to play around with .
I was a little worried that the bag sangles might crack or dry up if I don’t condition them often. But yup I’ll prob send both to spa few years down the road . Thank you both for the advice :)

I usually use Apple brand leather conditioner, works well, can get from Amazon

Hi everyone,

I’m totally new to Hermes and am reading up slowly to learn up things. Not really into the BKCs as yet but I’m recently attracted to Lindy26 since it’s more suited to my current lifestyle. Would love to get your experience on how easy it is to get one from the boutiques directly without prior spending? Thank you so much!
