I managed to get my Avalon pillows and throw last year within 2 months or so. BUT things might have changed in the last few months. I’m guessing that the local crowd is travelling less. In turn, they buy more domestically so there’s a high demand. Your SA may be telling the truth (assuming that you’ve been with him/her for some time).

I was with the SA since Nov last year and recently when I enquiry about the pillow, was told that we were not being able to even place an order as the ordering is closed. Guess we just have to wait, patient is the game xD.

Hello ladies,
I’m silent follower in this group… Can I ask the following qns in order to purchase a B25 bag, am thinking whether to go through reseller or boutique.. Advise pse

1.Why not purchase BKC bag from reseller instead of accumulating for a QB ?

2. if purchase from boutique is there a time frame to hit for QB will there be any expiry. Ie: 1:1 has to be done within a year otherwise all purchases will be reset?

3. I purchased Lindy from MBS years back so I go back to MBS or source for another SA?

1. Personal preference. I personally refuse to pay that premium amount from third parties for high value luxury items not just Hermes bags simply for my piece of mind. No matter how difficult, I still prefer the experience from the boutique and getting my items directly from them. For Hermes, I’d rather pre-spend knowing I am taking home various items home with me. Con is you might not always get the exact combination you are looking for-like different hardware, leather, size or variation in color. On the other hand, some people have no patience in accumulating spend or waiting for items to arrive to purchase and would rather easily buy from a reseller because you can hunt for your specific combo and get it over with. Either way, personal preference.

2. There is no hard and fast rule especially now that stocks are low and a lot of ladies who have hit their pre-spend still waiting for their bags. But I suggest to visit every month or at least every other month and buy something or at least inform your SA of the items you are keen to buy (in case no stock) so she/he can look out for you.

3. Since bags are not counted in your pre-spend, It will depend on your relationship with your SA which only you can answer. If you think you have good rel already with that SA, you might want to continue.

Just my 2 cents. Hope this helps.

Hi everyone, asking for some advice here with shopping at boutiques.

in order to get a quota bag… I understand we stick to 1 outlet and 1 SA, and buy across various departments…

i have some queries…

1. should I stay focused and buy things I like until I’m offered one?
2. Should I reject the other non quota bags like roulis & verrou that my SA offered?
3. will rejecting or accepting the non quota bags increase my chance of getting an offer earlier?
