Hi everyone, asking for some advice here with shopping at boutiques.

in order to get a quota bag… I understand we stick to 1 outlet and 1 SA, and buy across various departments…

i have some queries…

1. should I stay focused and buy things I like until I’m offered one?
2. Should I reject the other non quota bags like roulis & verrou that my SA offered?
3. will rejecting or accepting the non quota bags increase my chance of getting an offer earlier?

Hi! Based on my own experience,
1) I only buy what I like
2) I have never been offered non quota bags that I did not ask for
3) have not rejected any non quota bag since these are what I requested

Hi! You can definitely buy other non-quota bags if you like. I've bought quite a number of Hermes bags that aren't quote bags and they didn't hurt my offer.

I've also rejected bags my SA offered such as the mini lindy, mini bolide, and the constance to go. But my SA is very understanding and never pushes me to buy something.

Here’s my answer and I started my journey Feb 2021.
1. I tried staying focus on things that I like but recently the stock is so low and I started buying for the sake hitting my pre-spend. Bad on me.
2. I have outright rejected non-quota bags that’s not my style and also asked for alternative colours for non-quota bags. Eg she came out with an etoupe instead of rouge sellier offered.
3. I don’t think so.

Just for fun. I was at LT yday and an Aus lady came in and I was waiting for my SA’s previous customer to pay up so heard the following conversation.
She came in on a VTL flight and asked if SA has a B. SA said no, she told him in a upset tone that cos H has such a game, thus the resellers are selling at such high prices. She knows the game and willing to buy other stuff to get a B. Her tone was aggressive and angry so SA was put on defensive as SA tried understanding and explaining. She showed him VTL dates, hotel, said she came all the way here and does not know when she will be back again after hitting the prespend. Then I saw her browsing, trying on shoes while the SA disappeared for a while. Then my SA came and I started shopping. When I looked around later, I can’t find her on the RTW level.
Quite an episode there.

hi hi

1. preferably buy things you like, otherwise it will be a eyesore when you see those items at home later and dun noe how to get rid of them
2. you should reject bags that you don't fancy, no harm done. but do it gently and also guide your SA what your preferences are, so SA can offer you something that you like in future
3. this i speak from personal experience - in my case, when i accepted a mini lindy (perhaps its highly sought after), SA did tell me that better to have a few months break before requesting QB.... dunno if that applies to all or to me only because i was quite new (less than 1 year profile)... i got my QB 3 mths after.

Hi hi, has anyone suddenly been ghosted by their SA? I have known mine for about close to 2 years and my last purchase was Oct and got a reply for new year greeting. But 3 weeks ago I texted her and didn’t a reply and my husband texted her last week and he didn’t get a reply either. We are both so puzzled by this considering we don’t think we have done anything to be ghosted lol… just wondering what should I do because if I suddenly show up at the store to look for an item is it going to be weird seeing my SA or should I just find a new SA? Any advice for a confused shopper?

Is there a chance that your SA has resigned? Maybe call to check with the store?
