Been a LT client for 7 years, gotten nice bags and all , somehow my SA ghosted me. Have no idea...Hubby said just start somewhere again, I can't keep messaging my SA, it gets tiring. She only replies after 10 days, does not offer me even a pair of orans or lipstick nowadays, But thankful for 7 years worth of bags!
I am not sure what is the buying pattern of a 7 year old client. But nowadays, if you don’t proactively request for items from the SA, you get nothing. A few people told me over the past few days there is nothing to buy at LT or MBS.
 
Thank you all for your sweet messages. My hubby and I do not know what happened. We have zero idea. She just stopped messaging. She just stopped replying, she just stopped offering. We have 100% inventory of the bags we got from her, we are collectors. We have regular leathers, and exotics. We have been in good terms with the LT team. She used to message us every 3 days. In terms of spent, we spent on a monthly basis. I am sad, very sad, bit disappointed, bit angry but now, I have just let go and buy again because I do love the brand.

told her I am keen on evelyne PM or picotin as a starter bag....asked me to try again in Feb.. Am quite petite around 5’1 so was afraid it might betoo long so asked if there was any to try on for suitability but was told none at all as well. Wanted to start a relationship but didn’t sound very welcoming at all.. lol

It’s the same at Taka. And then i see new season scarves and RTW popping up at resellers, the very same ones sold out at the store and I’m like WTF @#$!

And know he/she has read my message as it will brought up in conversation when we meet up. The old way of shopping where SAs will text you when certain things she thinks you may like is in store is over. I say to give your SA the benefit of the doubt and dont be upset about it. But at the same time hedge your bets by starting another relationship at another store.

Is that reasonable behaviour though? I'm in sales and I would never ghost my client, just out of politeness... Don't get me wrong, my SA is tardy too and I'm also wondering the same thing (i.e. what's up???)

Ladies ladies.. let’s not get ourselves into this spiralling hole. Some of us have bad experiences, some of us have good experiences. But there’s really no point comparing notes and feeling upset over which clients get the bags and seasonal picks. It’s not as though we have unlimited funds to buy the whole H boutique anyway.

Our SAs may not reply 100% immediately coz they may have back to back appts. But eventually they will reply and give us our wishlist items right? For the ones who ghost you totally, I really have nothing good to say about them. I’m just glad that my SA isn’t like that.

And believe me, I’m not trying to discount how you feel. I just don’t want us to go down the path of comparison and unhappiness.

Let’s just enjoy our H journey. Take things slow. Don’t have unreasonable demands of our SAs (I’ve heard some stories of clients wanting things now now without understanding that while you’re spending 50K, someone else is spending 100K and your SA can’t perform magic). Chill and enjoy your purchases.

I hope you had a wonderful time the past 7 years with a lot of beautiful pieces to have and hold until now.

Just wanna share with you that for some people who started only recent years….we could not get anything to buy at all for many weeks or months at a go. There are many things ordered that took 3, 4, 5months….I could only managed to get something after a lot of research across various H online stores and immediately requesting for new items as it pops up and many many visits to the stores.

My SA informed me that only a handful of stocks came in each shipment and 20 or 30 SAs will fight over them to offer to their clients.

Not sure how helpful is my sharing to you. But if you already have a 7 year collection….thanks for letting us have a go at beginning our collection. ;)
