If you only want a specific color and gold being a popular one, it may be a while. If you spend more regularly, you may get more airtime and possibly top of mind. But it’s not guaranteed. If you only want this bag, perhaps look into resellers?

Congrats on getting into the gold mini evelyne waitlist. It’s very difficult to get into the list. If you want a shorter waitlist, colours like black or etoupe tend to be faster.

Spending more does not let you “cut queue” unfortunately. For example, you can spend 20k at the store and you might end up getting a gold birkin faster than a gold mini evelyne. Some colours in some bags are known to be harder to get than a quota bag of the same colour.

If you want to go via reseller route, it is also difficult to get gold mini evelyne too. You might need to find a reseller to source for it.

Firstly, let me commend you for being such a loving husband.

Hermes has many other lovely bags that you can select from and the SA can help you. Why don’t you work with Phobe to help you another bag while waiting for the coveted mini Evelyn. Off the top of my mind, you can consider a Picotin 22, Cabas H en Biais 27 or Herbag. If you’re feeling more generous, you can consider a Bolide, mini roulis, 24/24.

I bet you 6-9 months later (and if no other purchases are made), the SA will say oh Sir I’m sorry, as I explained to you when you first enquired, we have a long waiting list. There are many customers waiting for it.

Hope you understand that I am not being mean. It is what it is.

I personally have known some men actually don’t need to spend in order to get into the bags waitlist which ladies found it hard to get in.

Men are known to have an easier time to get bags from Hermes. It is what it is.

Did you see her put your details into the system for the mini e? If she did not then you are not on the list yet.

From experience, unless the SA helped you put in your details to q for the bag, this is just a way to brush you off until you establish yourself as a client that she would like to work with and help you get stuffs you want.

To q, it has to be for a specific combi. So i’m assuming you are not on the list yet but just that she noted your interest. If you continue to purchase under her then she will help you q for the bag.

I didn't realize that its hard to get on the waitlist for a gold mini eve as Phoebe does not want to disclose which colour is "easier" hence we choose gold with ghw.

If my wife is ok with etoupe, should i change my colour selection?

Yup, she sought my wife's hp number to ascertain our profile and waited for us to provide her the colour and hardware before inputting into her work phone.

She said there's a long waiting list without anything else. I do show that i am not in for the bag as i went in to try out the men's shoes and after the waitlist, check out the mens wallets.

But seriously, i am also not 100% sure she did enter me into the waitlist.

As read from previous posts, i am gonna pay a visit to her in dec and see other products.

Yes etoupe will be faster but if you are not in a rush and if you are indeed in the gold ghw waitlist, I highly recommend to stay in the list.

Speaking from personal experience, I do have purchase history but I couldn’t get into the gold ghw waitlist. I got into black ghw waitlist and got it after a month of waiting. I am fine with that since I have since got into gold ghw waitlist for another bag.

Gold is a nicer and slightly easier to match. It depends on your wife’s wardrobe.
