Calvi Duo looks nice but a bit plain. I have a inner self that feel like buying a wallet that 1 look, can tell its a H. i thought bearn fits this image.heh.

Oh yes that's fair. What I mean is I don't need to carry a full size wallet anymore (not working Liao, kid is grown up) also they don't fit in Mini bags. You should get the design which suits you best. Functionally as well as aesthetically.

I think bearne wallet mechanism is one of the easier ones (compared to k wallet for eg). I didn’t face any issues. But as for wear & tear, I noticed sometimes if I weren’t careful, the leather tab got caught when i took the wallet in & out of the bag. N when i wanted to close, sometimes the leather tab hit the h buckle so it gave way somehow & not as “pointy” anymore if u get what i mean. But it’s kinda normal i guess.

And saw ur few post back that u thinking of getting shoes. My hubby just showed me this dale loafer after seeing this post & asked my opinion. I said YES str8 away! I think u can check out the thread too for mens item. My hubby checks once in a while if he wanna get sth:giggle:

Thanks for sharing so much! I would love to try it out when there's a bearne in the boutique. Right now at MBS, there's no bearne at all. The H buckle is so iconic!

Shoes wise, I am looking at espadrille which seems quite casual chic and is better bang for bucks compared to H sandals. Do u think so?

If you won’t want to get the bearn wallet anyway with or without the mini E, then why not get the mini E from a reputable reseller?

it really would save a lot of frustration.

however, if you still want to try to get it from the store, why not just keep walking into stores and ask every now and then….u never know if u might chance upon a new shipment with a colour that your wife might like.

Thanks. Since i plan to buy this as next year's wedding anniversary present, i got some time to wait it out. If the SA give me a sense of confidence that the E mini will come even if later, i can always plan it as a present for another occasion heh.

I really prefer to give my wife the experience of buying a bag from the boutique as long as the spend is not too much.

Actually mini E doesn’t depend on spending, many people walk in and got it. Conversely, many regular customers waited many months to get one.
my personal feel is it’s used as a bait for new customers. Lol.

If you are not in a hurry, just keep walking in.
