I’ve waited 3-6months for SLG. Home decor usually 4-6months. FJ varies the most. For one highly desired Finesse, my SA offered me on the spot because I happened to be there at the right time. I suspect someone ordered and rejected it. Other FJs, OMG I waited forever.

Personally for me, Liat and MBS are on par for service. Taka ranks third. But having said that, they are not rude or anything.

Which store did you went for SLG?

In the meantime do you all suggest still heading to the store once a month? Considering that it is always out of stock?

How do I say this gently to you. If you go, are you prepared to spend or will you leave empty handed after making an appt for the SA’s time? If you don’t intend to spend and you only want that P18, then just wait and don’t go?

If you’re after a B/K/C, you’ll need to slowly build a profile and your spend on bags aren’t counted towards the pre-spend. Eg you can spend 25K on a few Lindy, Bolide and Picotins but they don’t count towards your quota. What counts towards your quota will be spend on fine jewellery (FJ), ready to wear (RTW), SLG and home sector etc. You roughly need to spend the equivalent of the B/K/C you want.. usually 16-20K.

But if you are only after the P18 and you find that you’ve waited too long and you don’t want to wait, you can opt for some reputable resellers.

My advice to you is, take things at your own pace. Don’t rush into things and buy what you truly love. If you have spare savings and regularly spend then by all means go in once a month and buy what you love.

Yups she said OK.

Most of us would spend more than that for the next season or next 2 seasons anyway.

But it’s best that you speak to your SA. Each store differs, each SA differs.

It’s just like how things differ across countries.

if you are building your profile, u might want to be regularly showing your face and making purchases with a budget of at least 1:1. You will also need to spend across categories…

So, if u die die want a particular SLG in certain specs. Then prepare to wait. But if you want a particular SLG and just want it to be dark Color (example), then you can keep popping by the shop to see what they have in stock.

based on my own experience, it can be quite frustrating if every item die die must get in a certain specs. So, I either just expand the Color selection or expand the different items across categories.

I also don’t like to go to the shop to just browse…because the lighting in the shop sucks. In daylight the colours could be different. So, I rather researched for a boat load of different items, eventually to get some of them that I really like.

so, I do go into the shop when I’m waiting for things to come …but first few trips I bought Kelly belt, clic h, Orans which is always in stock….just depends if they have the Color and size you want

Oooohh I asked for an Anemone pico 18 with GHW at Liat too and was told it’s not in season and hence can’t be put onto waitlist. :annoyed:

Wow mini Lindy! That's way rarer than P18 so no loss for you there! I did ask for any P18 colours with GHW early last year but it never did materialise... Maybe I'm not a regular/loyal enough a customer hahahaha!

Few months back when I sent my box Constance to spa at Liat, I asked again and the SA serving me then said I'd need to put a specific colour in the system but when I said Anemone she told me it wasn't in season, so I suggested Vert Cypress instead. She then said she'd note it down but when I went back on another occasion, I was told she's left and the SA serving me then said that he did not see my request of Vert Cypress in the system. The perils of not having a fixed SA and not spending regularly I guess :no:

Then during my most recent visit to Taka, I asked about the P18 waitlist after I bought my scarves and apparently you can only put your name on the Etoupe P18 waitlist, which might not even clear next year since there are over 100 people on it... Perhaps I'll see my P18 with GHW in 2023 HAHAHAHA. :rolleyes:

(To put things in perspective, I can't and won't complain cause I'm not the typical spend-across-categories customer, since I only like their silks and heritage leathers and most RTW/costume jewelry won't fit my frame. They won't be in a hurry to accede my request since I'm not in a hurry to spend boatloads of cash on things I find no use for... But maybe now I have a SA's contact we shall see if anything changes :lol:)

Dear ladies,

I am planning to build a profile and purchase a Evelyne mini gold colour with ghw at MBS.

My wife have a profile there with just one purchase of bracelet. I have just registered my model interest with Phoebe of MBS.

She mentioned that there's a long waiting list and she also cannot share which colour will have shorter waiting time.

May i ask if there's anything i can do to shorten the waiting time? Even if i dont do anything, will i eventually get the bag or is just a way to brush off customers?
